Latest numbers have Fujimori behind & she's calling voter fraud.
Is she about to pull a Trump and encourage her supporters to do something mind-boggling dumb if she doesn't win?

NOTE: A close election is a pretty good indication that the election was free and fair. Whatever fraud there is probably isn't enough in favor of one side or the other for it to matter as opposed to elections in a tinpot dictatorship where the number of votes the opposition gets is an arbitrary made up number large enough to keep those unhappy with the powers-that-be from rioting in the streets.

Buba

A total creep
Re the compassposting - not that I know anything about Peru, but the English Wiki has the Castillo dude as member of a left wing militia protecting peasants from the Sendero Luminoso ... and I do know that the Sendero Luminoso is Khmer Rouge/Trostky territory ...

South American politics gets weird and it's "the lesser of two evils", just like it is in the US, with the major difference being that South American politicians often don't have to hide the ugly aspects of their pasts. Sometimes being able to say "Yup, I did that" when asked about something less than upstanding is an asset.

Voter Fraud stuff again

No change from that.
Let's not forget about the legal woes coming Fujimori's way as the hotly-contested runoff election nears its end:
