A Waste of life and rescources so in line with imperial policy. The tau Will not forget this Witch Will only cause futher conflict that imperium cant afford. All for a chef. So 40k stupid toaster fucker.

Wrong; it's true the Imperium can't afford to conquer much less exterminate the Tau right now. But as shown by Shadowsun's Prefectia Campaign, no matter how brilliant her victories are on the operational and tactical level, they are insignificant on the strategic scale as measured by the Imperium. The Administratum overall considers the matter of Tau expansion as minor, pinprick losses that the Imperium can simply shrug off.

Retaking lost territory is problematic considering manpower requirements elsewhere, but punitive campaigns are more than doable, as shown by the Imperium simply breaking Shadowsun's nonexistent nose in the Second Agrellan Campaign, and bringing the Third Sphere Expansion to a crushing halt.

Yes it is, thou shall not suffer xeno to live.

Exactly. There’s no place for abstraction here, either Man will rule himself or he will be dominated by ruinous powers and aliens.

Do not be deceived by this shallow appeal to sentiments of some ‘greater good’, the only ‘good’ the Tau work for is the private interest of the Ethereal caste themselves.

Not bad for the scorned bastard child of a rogue trader and a concubine, and who once had to endure the withering scorn of the man’s legal wife every single day. Said legal wife ended up reduced to a servitor in the end, relegated to waste recycling duties…truly, the Omnissiah’s justice saw and reached all.

LOL. Bastard's gonna live down to the name, eh? Archmagos Veneratus Zofia von Karbelnikoff - will always be trying to prove herself to her Sire, which if he's dead and therefore unavailable to recognize her, will be the cause of much suffering.

Eh...death could be a mercy. For all you know, daddy dearest might also have been turned into a servitor. Really should have treated his kids better, instead of spoiling the firstborn.

Zofia isn't completely without mercy, and has even taken on the role of sponsor for the rest of her father's brood of bastards. Her favorite half-sister, Kirschblute von Karbelnikoff, for example, is now a Seraphim Sister, after then-Technomancer Zofia gave her a letter of recommendation to the nearest Schola Progenium.

I guess that's why it's called the Quest for Knowledge and not the Quest for Useful Knowledge.

Considering it's put into mass production a century later, plenty of people will disagree. Civilians, mostly, but it still makes things just a little bit better.

If you're going to take a mistress, don't be a fool and try raise the results in your goodwife's house. Take a lesson from the Sultans of Rum, let there be one family under one roof, elsewise is asking for trouble.

I like to think the spoiled firstborn - Kylmä von Karbelnikoff - eventually got caught making deals with heretics to try and get back at her younger half-sister, and was burned at the stake for it.

*sad trombone plays*

All that blood and lives spent.....for a cooking appliance?

Not just a cooking appliance...a STC cooking appliance from the Golden Age of Technology. And that means it can be mass-produced on the same scale as lasguns. It'll take a few centuries at least to become fairly common, but it'll make life ever so much easier for the average Imperial citizen.
