Hiruzen took a drag oh his pipe, and kept dragging... and dragging... without chakra the act would have been impossible, and he might have suffered from nicotine poisoning.

"What happened with this one?"

"Well sir, it seems that Hinata Hyuuga went up to the Nara heir and said something that... doesn't really make any sense."

"What was it? Exactly?"

"She said 'there are nine ketsu, wait, make that ten', we're not quite sure what kind of code this was as there are several hundred tenketsu, but the response was that the Nara heir lashed out with a lethal draw of his kunai and slashed her throat on the spot while screaming 'there can be only one'. The medics were unable to save her and there is currently open warfare in the streets between the two clans... sir."

"Damn it! that makes the fifth one this week."

See the thing is, the pun only works in English (shocker, I know), but also SI's hate competition and are murderous. On a related note (lie), a young skater punk told me that my glasses were "fucking savage" today, so that's cool.

Here's a good idea for Harry Potter. Introduce a potion or chemical that can either activate, or deactivate a person's magical ability. That is, it can turn a Muggle into a Wizard, and a Wizard into a Squib.

Imagine someone detonating a gas bomb in the London Underground that caused everyone exposed to it to spontaneously activate their innate magical powers? And all of them freaked out. And they all performed random, wandless magic. Wandless magic for EVERYONE.

It would be pure CHAOS!

It could be a faction of Muggleborn who are sick of being oppressed and want to strike back at the Purebloods. The problem is, this is an assault on the very core of Purebloods, and it would make them escalate their attempts to suppress the Muggleborn. It might cause all out civil war, on a scale that would make the first Voldemort War look like a family spat.

Just imagine what might happen if this element was introduced. A substance that allows you to control who has magic... And who doesn't.
