Pope Francis Has Died

And again you are falling prey to a fundamental misunderstanding of Christian theology. Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the light, but He comes to people where they are at, in ways that they can understand, throughout all of time and history. 'By their fruits thou shalt know them' and all of that. Lumen Gentium is a good read on the topic.
"No one shall come to the father except through me" is the rest of that verse.

And saying that:
"All religions are paths to God. I will use an analogy, they are like different languages that express the divine."

Is in direct contradiction of that. There is one way to heaven. It's faith in Jesus. No faith, no heaven. That's why the Great Commission is so important.

As for even Lumen Gentium, even if we accept it as true for sake of argument, an atheist in France was not truly seeking God. Nor is Islam or Hinduism or Shinto an actual path to God, but simply that one who has no knowledge of Jesus has a hope of salvation. There's one path to God, that's Jesus. Calling the other religions simply a different language is religious pluralism, implying that all are equal. This is an utter failing of his pastoral role.

I hope the new pope can actually pastor correctly, but Francis failed at doing so. He should not have been a priest, let alone pope.

Because someone from their country with the same skin color as them got elected?
Would have been better if a real strict catholic who adheres to the scriptures and cleans up the church
Ah, yes, well the skin colour thing, not such much.
He has Creole ancestry. His Maternal Grandparents were listed as Black on the 1900 US Census.

I go by what my eyes see not by the 1 drop rule.

That's fair, but as much as the "one drop rule" is mocked these days, it wasn't so long ago that it was literally the law of the land in many states within living memory. Declaring state one-drop laws to be unconstitutional was one of the key findings in the landmark Loving v. Virginia precedent of 1967.

Important update!

A chain restaurant in the new Popes original hometown has named a sandwich after his Papal name of 'Leo.'

New York Post said:
"In the name of the gravy, the bun, and hot giard, we introduce The Leo: a divinely seasoned Italian beef, baptized in gravy and finished with the holy trinity of peppers — sweet, hot, or a combo," Portillo's said in a news release.

Sp basically just renaming their Italian Beef Sandwich 'The Leo.'

Sadly the name change is also apparently only temporary.

Additionally a local bakery is now marketing... Pope Sugar Cookies described as "a cookie as divine as the moment." It's apparently a cookie with the image of the new Pope imposed upon it.

Prevost's actions in Peru.
Huh.

I watched that. Didn't get it all, but I never saw anybody was proved to have done actual abuse. One apparently was cought with pics of "child porn", but that's it. (Yes, that's bad, but there's so little details....)

Sometimes these claims are fake, after all.

The big thing, really, is the investigation getting screwed with is more of an issue. Still weird, but it's very "he said, she said". One side is very bad, but I can't say which.

Still seems pretty suspicious, but.....
