Here,my wank - Estonia.
They were there for last few thousends of years doing nothing,but - Behold,how they could take over world.

1.Amber road existed at least from 300BC till 300 AD - here,estonian dude X1 in 300AD helped greek merchants,get some swords,gave it to friends,helped merchant more,get more swords -
and,in 200BC Estonian tribes are conqered.
Then estonian dude X2,prince of Estonia,start helping merchants more - and conqering Latvian tribes.
In 100BC Latvia is conqered.
Estonian dude,prince X3,start conqering lithuanian tribes.
In 30AD they are conqered.
King X4 start conqering prussian tribes which own amber
Till 200AD they are conqered.He take christian missionaries and become first christian King,too.Use them as first beaurocrats.

King X5 send small army to plunder falling Rome after 400AD,taking craftsmen ,engineers and servants.Books,too.And monks.
Use their knowledge to built cities,standing army,navy,and start taking Finland,and tribes living when Petersburg is now here.
Till 500AD entire territory is estonian.

Fighting Huns - not need,they need cross forests to get to him

500AD - King X6 welcome irish monks,and take islands on Baltic shore,slavic tribes in North,too.

800AD - King X6 control current polish and Belaruss territories,and help Irish against vikings.He take western slavic tribed till Łaba river.
Help christian Berbers repel arabs,made colony there.

1100AD - King X7 Keep current East germany,polish,belaruss,Finland,Baltic states,baltic islands,Slovakia and Carpathian region.Take cisterian monks to develop industry.Part of Norwey with iron ores,too.Help Crusaders.Keep helping christian Berbers.

1200AD - King X8 take over Iceland and send people to Vinland to check what is there.Send Berbers to look after Paradise islands,too
Save Ireland from England.

1300AD - King X9 repel mongols,take part of Ukraine,keep Jerusalem from muslim,send more people to America - they discover Manhattan.
Also,take Templars after their trials.Berbers discover Carribean and Mayan for him.

1400 King X10 smash turks,and take Balkans till Constantinopole.Discover Aztecs and smash them.Take entire Mexico

1500 King X 11 Take Incas .Monks rediscover steam machine.

1600 AD - King X11 take Philippines and Australia,South Africa and Madagascar,too.Cisterians discover balloons.Christian friendly Japan

1700 AD - steam ships,railroads,rockets.He gets most of Africa.
1800 AD King X 11 have Europe from Łaba river till Don and Bosfor,most of Africa,both Americas,Australia.Cisterians made planes and cars.
1900 AD King X 12 send cisterians on Moon.
2023 AD King X 13 have cisterians on Mars and moons of Jupiters,own half of Earth,rest do what he want them to do.

I think that transhumanism would be easier to do on future rather than current generations: IVF plus embryo selection for desirable traits/genes, for instance.
