You may also consider frangible ammunition and hollow point ammunition depending on how durable the stuff you don't want to break is. Frangable ammunition is far more likely than baton rounds since you will likely be more concerned about not damaging impotent components like computers. For a true military spacecraft, it will be built hardy enough that you can use at least hollow points without having to worry about shooting the crew blowing up in your face (literally at least)
