Performance Enhancing Drugs and there prevalence at all levels of sport and society

The general populace has no idea just how prevalent PEDs are in all levels of sport; this is by design, of course. It goes against business to make this stuff public knowledge; the fan base would rather watch what they believe to be superior natural athletes as opposed to science experiments. Of course, most of these guys are very good athletes without PEDs; the PEDs just push them over the threshold and, in today's day and age, seven, eight, or nine figure net worths.

It is too late to get rid of PEDs. It would be like "banning" guns and telling everyone to return to the age of antiquity when it comes to warfare. And this doesn't just apply to sport; more than just athletes are abusing PEDs. So why not just make them openly legal? If people want to play science with their bodies, let them.

What do you guys think?
