On the net, do you believe that Communism was a good deal or a bad deal for Eastern Europe, excluding the former Soviet space?

The right is in bad straits right now precisely because that is all the Right had ever done, with few exceptions. Left attacks, Right defends, and so little by little the Overton window is being pushed towards complete insanity.

Modern-day Right is nothing more than warmed-over Left, and the attitude you describe is the reason for that.

the most frustraiting thing about humanity is the need to learn everything the hard way.

As I mentioned in my conversation with Marduk, which was hugely off topic, people are actually quite collectivist as a species.
There are rightwing collectivists and left wing collectivists, just how there are self-serving individuals on both sides.
The right collectivist wants to be part of a smaller and more exclusive group, whileas the leftoids want to be part of an ever larger group.

Could you go into detail on how you define 'collectivist,' and what you mean by 'smaller more exclusive' right wing collectives?

This is an extension of another conversation we had about neurological differences between the right and the left and on research I read in the Economist once upon a time.

Leftoids are proven to have a genetic predisposition to wanting the biggest and broadest social organization with the least amount of dissent and are also prone to totalitarianism.

The right also has collectivist instincts, since we are all evolved monkeys, but their loyalties IMHO are usually to their town, their church, their neighbors and other smaller local institutions.
That is just my view.

I agree with that, although I typically define the Left and Right in terms of "outgroup" vs "ingroup". Left prefers the outgroup, and is willing to sacrifice their own groups for the sake of the outgroup; Right meanwhile prefers the ingroup and will gladly sacrifice the outgroup. Hence why I concluded that leftism is basically mental illness, but what you wrote does explain the phenomena rather well.

I'll believe that when the right fights off the left and stays on their side of the fence. I'm not holding my breath because it'll probably come up with some claim for EVERY lane especially with it's seemengly obsession establishing New Jerusalem or New Rome. I'm not holding my breath in any case.

And where is this fence, and who decided that's where it would be?
Not saying this to you personally, but the problem I have with the "stay in your lane" rhetoric is that the sort of people who use it tend in my experience to be non-agreement-capable on where the lanes are supposed to be, and what is on either side of them.

Increasingly, the Secular Left seems incapable of respecting any boundaries or borders, or following any rules, even their own.

Yes, I've seen the question asked: what exactly do conservatives actually conserve?

Nothing.

The conservative movement failed, they slowed down the damage but they ultimently failed.
The next phase is populism, which will just be a grand alliance against a left that has lost its mind.

When this phase burns out, people will look around at the damage and any and all experiementation will end. The horrors of what happen will shell shock people and you will have a forceful return to tradition. This will happen in the west, it will likely happen in the east and social experimentation will be not only frowned upon but treated with abject horror and contempt.

This is the end of modernity and it has happened before in east asia, in the roman era and in the era that precided anquity in the middle east. A civilization can only experiment so much so long before the society as a whole says no more.

Right now were all fighting to see what changes get added to tradition and what vanishes forever.

Good news, if your black, asian, hispanic, white Western civilization is actually not racist at a foundational level your going to be fine. A lot of other things are up in the air but that's pretty firmly settled.

Nothing. Society is largely determined by technology, and technological advancement will lead to, in best case, destruction of human society and fall back to stone ages; worst case, humanity will go extinct.

In such conditions, conservation is at best an uphill struggle, and a complete pipe dream at worst.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
It's only worth it if the person benefits from it otherwise they're either dead, fucked by commie policies or sent to commie prison.

It used to be when I was growing up the common man's boarders were marked by these signs and threats of retaliation were made good upon if said boarders were violated: Often said signs would also have "no solicitors"

Nowadays defending your property against militant activist/evangelist who have long out warmed their welcome is considered barbaric especially if you're a heathen that does not follow the state sponsored religion whether it be Christian, Islam or Wokeism. and yes, contrary to what they insist Wokism is a religion even if it's just a cult.

The state in any of its forms have not cared about someone's land rights for a very long time. I mean for crying out loud we have to pay the government to live on our own land.

Redneck country is most likely the safest place to be.

The most dangerous place to be will be in very populated urban centers.

Not exactly, much of society is determined by biology and to a lesser extent cultural tradition that evolved out of specific circumstances.
