Britain including the isles and excluding Northern Ireland becomes completely infertile at midnight the effect is permanent and results in no babies being born for ever, think like children of men but not on the entire globe. What happens?

Would they remain sterile if they leave England?
And,would irish and scot remain sterile if they become independent?
What about minorities? would pakistani or poles there do not have children,too?

Yes anyone who was in the UK when it happened is sterile also anyone who decides to go to the UK is now sterile.
The Irish are not affected it’s only the island of Britain not Ireland so the Scottish are affected.

As for immigrants from Poland or Pakistan it affects them too and leaving won’t fix it.

So,England and North Ireland become dead island,nobody is going there.Well,except emerites who want see museum,or people who for some reasons do not want have babies.
Economically - world is not hurt much,GB is not that important anymore.
NATO would become weaker,but again,not much - brits have one dyvision,if i remember correctly.

But,they could gave up their fleet to their allies,or even better,sold to somebody part of it.To cover emeritures for last living british.
On another hand,those soldiers could be send somewhere to fight and die till they still can.
Maybe land forces to Ukraine,and subs with H missiles to Australia ?

That change notching,becouse England would either become abadonned ,or place for museums and mining operations.
Museums who would be visited only by eldery people.

Who would colonize territory which made sterile local population? Museums and mines COULD survive,maybe homes in countryside for retired people,but otherwise it come back to being forest.

Who would serve the rich old dudes? Poor old dudes? If you look at things like resorts, the infrastructure needed to support them is far larger than just the staff. At that point, why go to some cursed land when you could go literally anywhere else?

robots,and poor old dudes from Bangladesz.I read about one who sell his own skeleton when he was dying,so his family could live slighty better.Many more like him would gladly die in England for helping their families.

And,abour rich - if you have everything and do not chave chance for kids anyway,living in real castle in England for at least some time seems like good spend money.
