I can't believe I'm posting a thread about the NBA. I don't even much like basketball to be honest, but... my hometown team is in the Finals and just won game 1. Better, they won it clean, with none of the usual thuggery I associate with Basketball. And Milwaukee is where my family is from, and the Bucks played clean as well.

A well played basketball game is a treat to watch.

I remember one from years ago (the NCAA shot clock was still 45 seconds, that's how long ago it was) where Wisconson Green Bay slowed the game down to as much of a crawl as they could to compensate for their lack of athleticism. I don't remember who they were playing against and Wisconsin Green Bay lost. They were outclassed, kept the score close, and (from what I remember) the team they were playing against was visibly frustrated by a second-rate team not knowing their place and making things difficult instead of just rolling over and accepting a casual curbstomp.
