• Attention All Comstar Customers, Due to unexpected interference by suspected Word of Blake operatives, the HPG systems update was *not* successful. No data was lost due to our careful and extensive backups; however, we will need to try again next weekend. Sincerely, Comstar Precentor Dune

If an all white jury in 1913 believes a black man over you chances are your guilty as hell.
The grand jury which indicted Leo Frank also - of their own accord, the prosecutor didn't ask them to - considered Jim Conley's culpability and decided not to indict him for any crime at a time and place where someone saying "the black guy did it" basically let a guilty as hell white guy off the hook scot free.

Wonderful news. So many arrows have been put back in our quiver thanks to Elon.

I know some people are disappointed about Alex Jones, but alas, alongside Elon having personal issues with him, Alex is just too damn toxic right about now. I understand he might have apologised for it, but his coverage of Sandy Hook was a catastrophic and semi-disgusting error. Until all that is settled I can understand why Elon doesn’t want anything to do with him.

But, as evidenced by this, Elon certainly isn’t afraid of bringing the “big guns” of the Right back. He is very much our guy.

I don't care. Elon said meals were running at $400 because hardly anyone was there to eat them, so the kitchen staff are there, the rest of the workers weren't.
I would point out here that Elon's argument directly implies that for reasons inexplicable to anyone, Twitter's onsite cafeteria operation was not making food to order, but rather was making meals for every rostered worker every day even though they were not scheduled to be there, nor were they actually there. So it's not that the food was actually that expensive, it's that for some reason the food was managed in literally the most asininely stupid manner possible.

That said, I'd argue that cutting onsite meals because no one is showing up is perfectly logical except for the part where Elon is also cutting work from home and requiring everyone to show up. And I would also point out that cutting worker amenities while also announcing that he expects everyone to be working 80 hour weeks, is *not* going to leave Twitter with the "brightest and best" workers that Elon wants.

tl;dr: all the people who were basically there to gossip and socialize instead of actually working/doing a job, and be paid for said gossiping and socializing, have left the company. And, unsurprisingly, most are women.

Yeah, it's not exactly a stereotype when you have examples like this, haha.
Its my perdiction that a lot of the coddling women have recieved for the last 30 plus years is going to go away with in our life times.

I love how the second picture still has one or two women, but the people screaming about it only find the first one diverse. There's about the same number of men in the first one as women in the second lol.
If the Left didn’t have double standards, then they’d have no standards at all.

His followers are returning too, apparently it's taking a while for the servers to process it and restore everyone.

THE GREAT ORANGE ONE RISES! HIS POWER GROWS! BY THE DAWN OF SUNDAY HE SHALL BE REBORN!
Initially I thought he was using chemical fake tan. as those look orange.
But then I saw him filmed by some phone cameras instead of Fake News and he looked normal. That was when I realized they are applying a filter to make him look orange as part of their discrediting attack

Institutional knowledge will be lost and that kind of thing always takes ten times as much effort to get back as it would have cost to ensure its retention.
A bit late on this, but that shouldn't happen, because institutional knowledge is supposed to be written down for exactly this reason, if someone leaves suddenly you can't have them take all the knowledge of how X works with them.

It should be, but a lot of institutional knowledge is oral tradition.

This is definitely how things are supposed to run at a company. At the place I work at, we're supposed to have a 'Standard Work Sequence' or SWS for every job. It's supposed to be a written list of things that need to be done for that job, as well as how those things are supposed to be accomplished.

Note that I said supposed here, because...

It should be, but a lot of institutional knowledge is oral tradition.
This. Most of the factory machines at our plant have an SWS, but almost all of the supporting jobs, like bringing parts, or Team Lead positions do not.

Part of this is explainable by the fact that our company has been expanding the plant, so we've got processes moving around and changing, new processes, and old ones being discontinued. Management's supposed to be updating the SWSs as we go along... but people being people, have let the paperwork slip because 'that process is going to change again next week anyways.'

It hasn't been a problem because there's enough people around who know what they're doing, but if we were to suddenly have 90% of our people replaced with new hires... there would be a lot of lost productivity. And that's going to be the case for us until we get the paperwork caught up.

And as far as twitter goes... I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't been writing down their institutional knowledge.
