Multiple line-break adding issue.

So, I've been having a problem when copying text from my writing into Sietch.

On SB, I've long since learned to deal with the fact that it removes indents in paragraphs, and adds an extra line-break, spacing things out. Kind of annoying, but it's still reasonably readable.

Sietch, however, has been adding two line-breaks between every paragraph I copy in, so I have to manually go through the entire thing after copying it over, removing those line-breaks.

Any idea why this is happening, and how to make it stop?

I'm writing in Libre-office if that matters.

What's your page/paragraph settings? It could be XF2 interpreting a paragraph with double spacing as two line breaks or something like that.

Page/paragraph settings for what? Whatever that is, it's almost certainly on default, given I don't recognize it.

Actually this is a case of XF2 correcting for the inability to preserve indents (due to there not being a convenient formatting tag for that) by adding a line break after a carriage return. And since you were already manually doing that it doubles up.

What?

I leave my paragraphs completely unseparated in the Libre Office documents I write them in, specifically because the forum software stuffs line breaks in.

Are you saying the fact that I indent my paragraphs is what causes the problem?

Ahhh, then I'm really not sure what's going on, to be honest.
