They won't get accountability over Khashogi. Not unless they stop being cucked oil bitches to the Saudis.
Tell that to the Democrats that want to bring MBS to justice.
What's the idea behind supposed right wingers joining CNN and AJ in whining about Saudi's governmental not so professional disappearers killing this guy?
If the West had good leadership then Saudis couldn't bungle his disappearance because he would have been long dead already.

I'm pointing out a problem in the logic of those in the administration that keeps bringing up Khashogi as a talking point. You want to bite the hand that gives you oil and the petro dollar you better be energy independent first.

Bungled killings happen. That's why they get brought up on the media.

If its the administration, why do they talk instead of doing?
As far as i know it's the "more progressive than thou" democrats like the Squad who are complaining that the administration is not left wing progressive enough.

A lot of the entire administration is staffed like that. A bunch of posers said from hearsay to believe their job is like some Whitehouse tv show called the Westwing while the strategic oil reserve is being sold.

I thought that the US's huge shale oil reserves and production make it less dependent on Saudi Arabia than in the past?
The keystone pipeline is revoked and fracking has took a downturn after getting kneecapped by the current administration.

Then you better hope that Trump or some other Republican such as Big Ron DeSantis wins in 2024, eh?
A lot can change in 4 years while I watch them play checkers at each other from the outside as they sneak their hand in the public funding trough.

Kind of hard to do when you need the Saudis to combat Russia, no?

Saudis had zero accountability for the last 70 years and won't do shit for USA, they like the higher oil prices and thereby won't do anything to ''combat'' Russia, despite USA repeatedly begging them to help. USA and Europe are Saudi bitches and situation is unlikely to change any time soon.

He did and he knew better not to rock the boat or it's curtains for the oil.
Oh the irony, we're talking about them taking out a Muslim Brotherhood political operative, somewhat incompetently, but still. WTF do you want them to do? For the record Muslim Brotherhood are the same guys who under Obama overthrew Egypt's government for some time and are consistently West hating islamists. Also Hamas is a side project of theirs.
The Holy Land Foundation scandal, that was also them. The only justice we should be talking about here is why CIA is waiting for Saudis to gank their operatives instead of doing it themselves.
Here's a fun primer on Muslim Brotherhood from a surprising source:

Why did you quote me when I said he knew better than to not rock the boat?

The Saudis are a special ally to the US becuase of the oil and the petro dollar. You said it yourself WTF could the whiners do? They're nigh untouchable until the US doesn't rely on them anymore but they ruined such chances.

Because complaining something that in fact is for own country's interest would hardly constitute "rocking the boat", it would be outright insanity. In this case not only Saudis provide oil, they also do the dirty work CIA should be doing, even if poorly.

I am not complaining. I am pointing out the flaw of the horse the democrats have rode in on. They're the ones complaining not me.

Democrats are not united on this one. The more left faction loves Muslim Brotherhood and they struggle to hide it (and they are the ones genuinely outraged here), the more moderate ones, tied closer to the national security circles and/or Israel know to shut up because they know Muslim Brotherhood aren't their friends.

The ones that are for it keep bringing it up while Biden is carrying their water the US intelligence also chimed in that MBS was responsible.

It was more than just stern words. They sanctioned key Saudi members they deemed responsible and put a stop to their fun in Yemen yanking out US arms deals.

MBS wasn't happy.

Yeah, that was the more left democrats and centrist ones doing a compromise. A stupid one in general, but what do you expect from democrats. No wonder MBS is pissed, it is a stupid from US side and he knows it.
