Oh.... NOW rhe Biden Administration withholds military aid from the Muslim World... :sneaky:

Al Alarabiya said:
US President Joe Biden’s administration decided it will hold back $130 million in military aid to Egypt over human rights concerns, Politico reported.

Egypt receives $1.3 billion in military aid annually, out of that amount Congress put human-rights-related conditions on $300 million.

This shit again, of course...
Remember how Obama administration supported Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt over military leadership, which is the case now again?

Something more lighthearted...

People were wondering why Lebanese Air Force planes were engaged in seemingly random circular patterns in areas near the Bekaa Valley which borders Syria and Israel.

Apparently the LAF is open for tourist flights. No ideas yet on the extra options that tourists can purchase, like use of the Maverick AGM's that can be mounted on the Cessna 208's that are now functioning as sightseeing tours as well as ground attack aircraft.

Apparently the cash strapped Lebanese Air Force offering private aerial tours is a far more widespread thing.

Only $150 bucks... not too bad...

Freighters collide in the Bosphorous. One Russian and one Turkish cargo ship.

Oh FFS.

At least unlike the Suez, not too much western/US bound cargo go through there.

And because it's a Russian and Turkish ships involved, the west can just grin and watch and Putin brow beats Erdy once again.

Gunfire erupts at Hezbollah led protest in Beirut. Hezbollah was marching in opposition to a Judge overseeing the Beirut Explosion months ago, claiming the Judge was biased against the Hezbollah aligned government which was in charge in the lead up to said disaster.

Six people were killed as gunfire dispersed the protest as Hezbollah militia publicly called for calm while their militants engaged in gun battles and fired RPG's at alleged perpetrators of the attack. Hezbollah blames the Christian Lebanese Forces party for the attack. The LF responded that they condemned the violence and no militias (read Hezbollah) should be operating in Lebanon heavily armed and proliferating weapons.

Hmm, methinks Hezbollah is trying to disrupt the case and remove the judge because there might have been more than just fireworks and AN in that warehouse, or Hexbollah knew the shit was there and allowed the lax storage conditons to begin with, since they effectively control Lebanon.

The Turkish Lira reached a record low of 1.6% against the USD dollar in the wake of the Erdogan government ordering the expulsion of Ambassadors from the United States and nine other European Union states combined with the Turkish Central Bank cutting its policy rate.

The Foreign Ministry hasn't acted yet on Erdogan's statement.

Looks like despitr initial assumptions that Morocco would purchase Chinese made Wing Loong drones, they instead went with Turkish made OB2 drones that have been getting the spotlight in recent years including during the recent conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

It was apparently a $70 million deal for thirteen drones, four ground stations and a simulator.
