Actor Arnie Hammer was apparently cancelled back in 2021. I remember hearing about it and thought it was stupid and delving into it, Arnie Hammer apparently had some strange kinks but from what I could see... never, ever, ever, ever, absolutely ever did any action like sexual harassment or assault beyond being momentarily creepy in intimate situations with girlfriends or whatever.
Regardless, apparently that's enough to get you cancelled nowadays.

One of the accusers, who was so anonymous as to go by the pseudonym "Effie" retained famous ambulance chaser civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred and stated that not only was Arnie Hammer into creepy BDSM stuff, but he carved his initials into her groin area, raped her for hours on end, slammed her head against the wall repeatedly and whipped her all over her body including her feet so she couldn't walk!
Arnie Hammer didn't respond to any of the allegations beyond stating they were spurious attacks and thus remained silent for an entire year as the controversy resulted in his career being cancelled. But apparently last Fall he decided to finally talk to a journalist to release his side of the story (which up until then had of course, not been shared or even asked for).
Anyways... long story short, it turns out Effie was Efronsina Angelova who was someone he dated back in 2016. There's been no evidence of any rape or sexual assault with any of his relationships and Arnie Hammer released a lot of his DM history with all of his accusers and whatnot revealing...

Oh and as an addendum, Efronsia Angelova and Gloria Allred parted ways. Apparently Allred is being featured in a documentary series about this incident where she can show how awesome she is and then this happened:

Apparently the Law Enforcement investigation into Efronsia's allegations is still "ongoing" after two years, with no charges being brought to Prosecution.
