What I worry about is that the trend will continue on until you have people being genuinely racist.

The Leftoids keep redefining that word and moving the goalposts to the point where they will be telling white people that they are automatically racist just for existing.

Not themselves of course... just other white people.

And then all the other white people tell the Leftoids to go and jump in a lake.

Young women lighting cigarettes on a gas stove is tradition?

Just looking at that picture, I'm a bit worried that she's about to catch her hair on fire.

Dude have you been living under a rock? We hit this moment literally years ago. Like 6+ years ago, maybe even longer.

Books like White Fragility, which were on the #1 best selling lists for a while, and are far from fringe, will tell you that you're racist for trying to talk to your black friends about race. It'll also tell you you're racist for not talking to your black friends about race.

They've been painting this "everyone is a racist if they're white" picture for a long time. It's mainstream now.

I really do wonder if you've been living under a rock.

Chill, dude. Remember that I don't live in the same country as you.
The point is that the way things get to the "that's racist!" and "thank you for noticing!" stage is when "Racist"has been redefined to mean things that sane people consider good and necessary.

If you took my post aggressively, that's on me and I apologize for posting it that way.

But you should look into Critical Race Theory. I cited one of their more popular works, "White Fragility," but you can also look into Ibram X Kendi (I might have spelled that wrong,) for some other modern works based off CRT.

But CRT started in the 70s I believe. It was kind of fringe back then, but these days it's being taught in schools all across the country, and is featured in some #1 best selling mainstream books.

CRT is already teaching that pretty much all white people are racist.

What you are worried about us approaching? We have been there for years. If you're white and not actively being what they define as an "anti racist," then you're racist. You might even be a racist anyways.

Basically critical race theory is a series of presumptions and conclusions.

Presumptions which are assumed to be true:
1. only the powerful can be racist
2. power belongs to groups, not individuals
3. (your group) benefitting from racism makes you a racist. Even if you are actively fighting against racism.
4. if you are born white you by default benefit from racism. there is literally nothing you can do to not count as a beneficiary.

therefore conclusions:
A. only whites can be racist, all other races are too weak and pathetic to be racist (so basically they are calling non-whites "lesser races")
B. all whites are just born racist. you can identify a racist by the color of his skin

This is taught in schools to children.

You ever see a white person apologizing for their privilage? this is why.
They "acknowledge" that they are privilaged racist. And are begging for forgiveness for being born racist (original sin), and presenting their various "ally" actions as justifications for why they should be forgiven.

She is aware, she is just using newspeak.
"imperialism" in newspeak is a form of racism.
As per CRT
