Is anyone else excited for the rumors of who will be the new host on The View? After Meghan McCain left back in in August of 2021, there's been a hole both on The View and in American discourse in general in the lack of a 'contrary' viewpoint on The View panel which has been filled by a rotation of random commentators since Meghan McCain departed.

It now has been filled by Alyssa Farah Griffin. Prior to January 6th, there is no way she would've ever, ever, ever even been contemplated of visiting the set of The View. She's the daughter of the outspoken and controversial founder of WorldNetDaily Joseph Farah whose website which hosted numerous Conservative and Right Wing Columnists and their views over the years (including Theodore Beale/Vox Day for example before he went White Nationalist). She wrote for WorldNetDaily herself, as well as for the Laura Ingraham show, before entering politics, most notably serving as Vice President Pence's Press Secretary for two years before she then became the White House Director of Communications for eight months in the Trump Administration until resigning in December of 2020, praising the Administration and her time serving it when she resigned in a Tweet.

In the thread she touted the accomplishments of Trump Administration in destroying ISIS, delivering tax cuts, rebuilding the Supreme Court and Judiaciary, and Operation Warp Speed.

But then come the INSURRECTION OF January 6th she made a sharp turn away from Trump and the Administration. While she questioned impeaching the President (believing Censure was more appropriate) she did denounce Trump's role on January 6th.

Daily Mail said:
Farah Griffin was quick to denounce the attack after having publicly condemned Trump supporters for harassing Mitt Romney the day before.

On January 8, 2021, she blamed Trump for inciting the insurrection and suggested that he should resign as the House moved to impeach the outgoing president for the second time of his administration.

In October, weeks before her nuptials, she criticized Trump for lying about the election being stolen during an appearance on The View, saying she wouldn't support him again.

She recalled: 'The election had been called. It had been a couple of weeks, and I started to see tick up in rhetoric around the election was stolen, seeing some of my colleagues go on TV and say as much.

'I fundamentally knew that wasn't true and it could have dangerous consequences.'

She added: 'I thought I had a duty first and foremost to the country to tell the truth.'

Farah Griffin said she was devastated by the insurrection as she recalled how Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt was fatally shot while breaching the U.S. Capitol building.

'My heart breaks that an Air Force veteran was so warped by lies to her sold by the American president that she lost her life,' she said.

Farah Griffin insisted she 'wouldn't support Donald Trump again.'

'Our country needs to go to a different direction,' she added. 'There are some good things policy wise...but we gotta move on from this era.'

Her criticism of Donald Trump resulted in her Father Joseph Farah and her Stepmother in not attending her Wedding last year, boycotting the nuptials due to their political differences.

But is that enough for The View cohosts?

The answer is apparently 'No' in some cases. CoHosts are worried about her ties to her Father, as well as her role in the Trump Administration 'destabilizing' the country. And some guests have allegedly refused to appear on the show if she is Co-Host.

Daily Mail said:
Another insider told DailyMail.com: ‘Her soon to be co-hosts are very upset. They feel she isn’t authentic and changes her opinions based on who her paymaster is.

‘Ana Navarro especially feels let down as they are hiring someone who was an essential part of the movement that destabilized this country.

‘Alyssa’s family is also problematic. Her father Joseph founded WorldNetDaily a website that promotes conspiracy theories. It’s terrifying.’

A third source added: ‘Her appointment will also cost us bookings. Wanda Sykes pulled out because she didn’t want to be on the show with her.’

Comedian Sykes' withdrawal from the show was first reported by The Daily Beast's Confider media newsletter.

"I may not like you, but I have to work with you." is something so-called celebrities too full of themseves to think that they aren't replaceable don't understand.

They also don't understand that if you can't be polite to everyone you can't be anything to anyone.

Ok I think were having a cultural clash here.

For me politeness is highly conditional you should try to be polite to most people but if some one is determined to be your enemy or is just a dick then you owe them no politeness. Being polite to every one regardless of behavior invites more bad behavior and violence in my experience.

For me politeness is just something I do. If I don't know you you're going to get a Ma'am or Sir from me and there are no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

You can be polite to someone as you firmly escort them out of their government office, across town, and into a nice humane jail cell, where they will await their trial.
