Also natural gas powerplants are much better at regulating the power demand fluctuations, excellent for dealing with demand spikes.
Natural gas is mainly methane, so it is also one of the easiest power soruces to switch to renewable sources such as sewer gas reclamation.

Pfft, barbeque on wood and charcoal heathen.
I prefer propane and propane accessories.

Jokes aside, I usually sous vide and finish off with a scalding hot cast iron pan, and I plan to buy a torch soon to try that, but let's not get too off topic lol

"Let's go Brandon!"

I think they are saying "Boo-urns."

I respect the reporter. I do not respect the race car driver or the fans.

I've driven an '08 Koenigsegg on city streets and that car is quick enough and maneuverable enough to somewhat keep up with F1 cars at Monaco. Racing that bit of barely street legal bullshit at LeMans wouldn't be fair.

You respect the reporter for lying to you and basically telling you not to trust your own ears?

It's a sports report. Practically nothing of importance will be talked about. Honestly, I'd be more interested in hearing what the pit crews have to say about what went wrong and why it went wrong.

It is NASCAR. One of the few sports that is heavy southern

Each NASCAR stock car costs about...400k. There are 50 cars on the field. That is well above the price of said car.

NASCAR is also one of the few sports that started because of prohibition and has stayed going since
That 400k number is inflated. My dad had Hendrix Motorsports build one for him and mom says it was less expensive than the '65 Porsche he randomly brought home one day.

Was it for NASCAR standards? Xfinity series? Sprint Series? What year? Because as of 2020, it is 400k, with 60-100k being the engine alone

I'm guessing they didn't actually give him NASCAR grade, or else this was many years ago and inflation has changed the perceptions. The tires alone used in a single race will run you about 20,000 dollars, just the tires for one race will run you about half to two-thirds of a '65 Porsche. The engine is worth 3-4 Porsches and the Chassis 2-3 more, with the cost of insurance for one race running you another Porsche.

And it is Hendrick Motorsports, not Hendrix Motorsports. In addition, on a track like Talladega, IE a Superspeedway, F1 *cannot run*, because they cannot handle the banking.

Frankly, you are coming across as extremely ignorant here. That particular driver? Just a few months ago had zero sponsorships and was on the verge of having to stop racing, and now he won at one of the most prestigious tracks in the circuit. An average Talladega race is longer and more grueling than any Formula One race on the schedule, has more overtaking, more lead changes, and more aggressive racing than anything in Formula One, and you can never predict the winner based on starting position on the grid, unlike in Formula One.

Ah but you see, NASCAR drivers have it easier as they only make left turns!

Most F1 drivers that have tried to go to NASCAR usually do not do well at all.
