It's possible to do a decent job as a single parent, but the same behavior patterns that usually lead to single parenthood, usually also mean that the individual is very unlikely to do the copious amounts of extra work to make up for the lack. And I haven't even mentioned all the practical disadvantages that most people are already aware of, such as only having one adult as caretaker and income provider, etc, etc.
Pretty much the only times I've ever heard of a single parent doing a decent job of raising their kid(s), is when they actually had a spouse helping them out early on, and at some point one of them either died or they amicably divorced.

The January 6th Political Prisoners went into the Capitol with the wrong guiding principles, but what they did was not wrong, they are innocent, they are fundamentally Patriots and I will not rest until the day they are free. Every single Federal official complicit in this setup deserves to be tried, imprisoned, and specifically in the case of the murderer of Ashli Babbit especially, prosecuted with the intention of seeking the death penalty.

It was one of the only times I've seen Cruz state that he chose his words poorly and mispoke.
Because Ted Cruz doesn't misspeak.

Regardless how anyone feel about Cruz, he is intelligent, and he chooses his words carefully. He meant what he said. He's backpedaling now because it backfired.

Tucker Carlson called him out on this. He outright told Ted that he didn't believe him. One of Tucker's better moments.

What strikes me as odd about this instance is that Cruz has not been jumping on the "It's an insurrection/terrorist" bandwagon prior to this.

I've been trying to figure out if there was an angle to this, or, if this was actually the one time we see Cruz get his internal monologue screwed up?

He said 'terrorist' in that interview, because it is true; it's just that said terrorists happen to also be glowies and people like Ray Epps, not Trump supporters.

Cruz is a snake who happens to kill pesky rats once in a while, but owes his loyalty to only those who can fund/power his campaigns.
