The problem is, productive =/= loyal and culturally assimilated. The Hindu elites as shown recently in UK's politics are a good case study of that. You get internationalists, plain and simple, who care about the nationals no more, and sometimes less than people on other continents.Well, to be honest, I think that, other than possibly the Leftism, Hindus and East Asians (Chinese, et cetera) in places such as Britain make good, productive citizens. I'm eager to welcome new, productive citizens even if they are of different races.
As such, in a perfect world, even productive immigrants should not be considered citizens so easily. Productive? Give them permanent residence rights, sure, but that alone doesn't mean they should be expected to be loyal and vote for the interests of the country.
Demand for restaurants, exotic or otherwise, rises with economic prosperity and comfort of general population above all. If they can't afford to go to restaurants often or have to worry about getting robbed while doing so, naturally they won't.The exotic foods is a bonus, though. I do think that the demand for exotic restaurants goes up when there are more minorities in particular places since it is initially them who are demanding this food and only later natives find out about it and often become interested in it. This is why Chinese food in Israel is relatively crappy, for instance. Specifically because Israel has almost no Chinese people.
As for Israel, it's a country with high tax burden, expensive real estate and is a net food import when it comes to ingredients, plus a culture of haggling and other Arab influences. Of course corners are cut wherever one can get away with it.
On the other hand, there is the observation that in many countries, especially Western Europe and East Asia, McDonalds tastes better than in America, and it's staffed by locals, not Americans. Local agriculture and food standards absolutely make a difference. And if said ingredients have to spend weeks in a hopefully refrigerated container on a ship, truck, port, whatever, crossing half the world, that also makes a difference, and definitely not a positive one. Funny how the "food argument" is never turned around for immigration of westerners to non-western countries.
Also a tendentially turned argument. It's a matter of many times controversial polls that black women are statistically considered the least attractive, so of course the most attractive (actress!) of mixed race ones will look great by that baseline.I do completely agree with you about the First World's need to fix its own demographics. White people (including Ashkenazi Jews) have accomplished a lot throughout history (just look at Charles Murray's book Human Accomplishment) and thus it would be nice to have more of them. I also think that white people are extraordinarily beautiful in terms of appearance and that, for instance, non-white people with more white ancestry often look better than those with less of it. Mixed-race Hannah John-Kamen is prettier than women of exclusively Sub-Saharan African descent, for instance.
