If WWII breaks out in 1938 over Czechoslovakia and France falls in 1939, is there any realistic way for the USSR to hold out in 1940 against the Axis?

They do not dare to kill him when he was winning and have his private SS army.In this TL,he would be loosing and few SS regiments.German generals do not even need to kill him, only arrest.

Arrest without killing is super risky. He always had a hard core of true believing fanatic followers, rescue and restoration attempts would be likely.

Completely agreed. Of course, even killing him won't solve the problem if ASBs will subsequently intervene and give him Jesus's alleged magical Resurrection Power (TM)! ;) :D

Fair enough, still seems quite far fetched for them to actually succeed.

They would succed easily if Wermacht do not have series of easy victories.Becouse nobody wanted another war till fall of France.
In situation when they would loosing on 3 fronts against czech,Poland and France? generals would kill him and rest of population would be happy.

Wrong. Many people wanted one, or were willing

No way that would happen in the 1930s. Not at least without some extreme ASB involvement. That being the case, the generals won't be getting rid of Hitler that easily.

Many prussians wonted steal from poles again - but it not mean, that they would fight against 4 countries for that.
And Franz Halder proposed british in 1938 that he would go with his dyvisions to Berlin and arrest Hitler, but was ignored.
Once war with Czech,Poland,France and England start, some german general would do so.

Assuming some magic ASB allowed the English to actually do anything in 1938? Some general would try, but even then their success is far from guaranteed. With more realistic disposition of forces it's much less likely they'd try much less succeed.

I'm specifically thinking of a joint Nazi German, Polish, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, and Italian assault on the Soviet Union here, only one year earlier and, again, with Polish participation.

I think Germany is lucky they did not went head to head Czechoslovakia, they might be a bit stronger than Poland.

Wit war with Czech,Poland,France and England? half of german generals would do that. And since in 1938 Himmler do not have SS army yet, they would succed.

True.Czech in 1938 have more planes, tanks and guns then Poland in 1939 - and german had less. For example - 3 armored dyvisions instead of 7.
