I don't expect the issue of forgiveness to become relevant until the bodies start piling higher than the average joe can comfortably walk over.

I can forgive. To err is human, to forgive is divine. However, there are conditions for forgiveness that must be met first. They must give up all political power and never seek office again. They must pay restitution for what they have done. Lastly they must face the legal penalties for their actions. Mostly I would have them do community service because I don't want them in a jail cell. Do this and I would forgive them.
Forgetting what they have done? Nope, not on the menu.

My asspull figure is 70,000 deaths ('20 and '21 deaths above multiyear average) in Poland caused by the Covid scam and hysteria. Mostly through denial of ordinary medical services as these were busy with the pandemic that wasn't. Although some probably due to complications caused by the untested shit jabbed into people.
And NOBODY EVER will be prosecuted for this because both ruling parties are involved with fighting Covid. The main opposition was complaining that the Gov't wasn't doing enough.
And the sheeple bought the MSM propaganda - most of my family thinks that I am a "dummy" (i.e. total moron) for not vaxxing myself and for minimal compliance with "plague times" measures.
Sadly I cannot punish the alternatively ruling parties at the ballot box as I have not voted for either since the noughts.
I voted for a party which was Covid nonbelieving but, sadly, are bullshit crazy in other areas.
