Considering an EA Play sub on Steam.

How good are the Battlefield and Star Wars Battlefront campaigns? Do they have entertaining plots like the Call of Duty Black Ops and Modern Warfare franchises?

Are they fun? Is there variety in level design and gameplay?

The original Battlefront 2 for PS2 had an okay singleplayer campaign. Nothing to write home about story or gameplay wise. It's just playing through the PvP maps but against bots and with a little bit of narration between each mission and clips from the movies. If you want an FPS with story and characters, play a CoD campaign. Don't know about the new Battlefront games.

:p

Battlefront 2 Classic wasn't published by EA so isn't part of the subscription.

And I am trying to finish my collection of CoD campaigns. Thinking of cleaning up the rest of the Black Ops and Modern Warfares next time a sale comes around.

But a year of EA Play is cheaper than Black Ops 3 on sale.
