I've seen some dank may-mays floating around about this setting, so I finally chose to watch the whole thing because hey, it's free.
This was...acceptable. My faint Mid-2000's Cartoon network nostalgia definitely kept me paying attention more than I might otherwise have cared. Disregarding the fact that the style of the show is like a mishmash of melodramatic goth tumblr blogs meets my chemical romance and a few other "punk" emo angst-fueled bands of the 2000's, it certainly wasn't dull. One reviewer was right when he said that the character designs were a bit too complex for regular animations. Lots of little details to worry about.
Charlie feels like the least wacky character design of the show, though I guess that would help when she's just the host to lots of potentially weirder monsters? Alastor was the most interesting villian I've seen in a while, mainly because I liked his retro style and faux-transatlantic manner of speaking.
Like others have said, the jokes were hit or miss, but I can say that they were at least more amusing than uninspired raunchiness like something out of a "movie movie" or south park. The plot? I guess it could work on an episodic basis. I don't know if there's a really spacious market for this particular kind of adult animation, between the Simpsons, Family guys, Big mouths, etc that are out there. Not that I would bother to watch it regularly.
In conclusion:

Ugh. The memes are the worst part of this show. There's only two episodes, and the fandom seems determined to get the most out of each frame, no matter how much they have to ram a Square peg into a round hole to make it.

I think the voice is genius. It sounds chipper and a little pompous, but it also sounds artificial. Perfect for the affably evil abomination that he's supposed to be. I haven't seen much Gravity Falls, but Alistor seems like a better-executed Bill Cypher. He's friendly, cheerful, and scary without sounding like an evil Spongebob Squarepants.

I think there's a bigger market than there used to be, but conventional wisdom is that there isn't enough of an audience for a half-million-dollar-per-episode cartoon that you can't show to the kids.

So this has gotten a fair amount of attention lately.

Vivziepop has also said that Hazbin is having some big announcement soon, and rumors are that someone is interested in picking the show up. I recall her hinting as much somewhere in this Double Toasted interview.

First Yandere Dev turns "Developing a game forever" into a business model, now we've got people making a million dollars a year to not provide a show to the most desperate people on the planet.

The highest patreon tier for this show is 500 dollars a month. They are sold out of these.

If so, that is unfortunate. This show seems half-decent.

Admittedly, it costs a whole lot to produce a show like this. So a couple episodes a year is what I expect. If Something Witty Entertainment could speed up though, that would be great.

At one or two main series episodes a year, given their pacing, you're talking about ten years to produce a single season.

They could have done two episodes (or one long pilot) of one series instead of two pilots, so that they could actually introduce the premise coherently instead of dumping random elements into the proverbial internet truck.
As it stands they're raking in a cool mil per year at least to essentially pitch the idea repeatedly. They are fucking printing money.

That's not printing money, if it costs about a million to produce though. The only way I expect to see a season is if it gets picked up.

Keep in mind this is an amateur production; they're probably spending at least twice as much money to get half as much work done than a professional studio.

Yeah, I'd hope that this level of support means that it gets picked up and some serious resources thrown at it.

But if not, eh, no one's making anyone contribute, and I've certainly enjoyed what I've seen so far for gratis, so no skin off my nose either way.

I thought you’d enjoy the fact that everyone burning in hell is a member of the LGBT community. That was intentional, right?

I’m not a fan but I guess progressive propaganda fed through a decent art style for adults is better than progressive propaganda fed through cal arts to children.
