I'd like to read a fic where we learn about Neville as an authorized. Dude started out pretty soft and damaged. Yet ended up being a hero it's be cool to see where that went.

I think he's trying to say that the story is about the "Author" as Neville. Or, better known in the interwebz as Self-Insert.
Not even an HP fan, but a believe he means "auror" and got autocorrupted.

Here’s a premise for an AU version of Harry Potter
Wizards and Witches use magic which draw energies from other planes of existence and/or their surrounding universe/multiverse
This has lead to them being rather into gaining knowledge of the worlds beyond and pseudo-scientifically quantifying magic and eldritch abominations and studying as much of Time&Space as possible and archiving information regarding aliens, lovecraftian horrors, alternate universes, cosmic phenomena etc
Essentially they are a mix of Elder Scrolls’ Dwemer and HP Lovecraft’s Great Race of Yith
Due to reasons unknown, they and the rest of the magical world, inspired by Dresden Files have all unilaterally agreed to avoid revealing themselves to the muggle world
Voldemort and his Death Eaters and the House Slytherin dudes are considered both an anomaly and an annoyance for repeatedly going on about showing their superiority to ordinary humans when the greater human magical society just prefers living in their own world and occasionally forget that Muggles exist
Harry and co deal with Voldemort, the rest of the magical world, lovecraftian horrors, politics and businessmen, mysteries, traveling the “All-World” and later on Muggles
