In their Los Santos universe, they were pretty based, especially Sweet.
Approaching two million likes, a Tweet by Rockstar Games merely announcing a trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI to be released on December 5th is the most liked Gaming Tweet in the history of the social media platform.
Honestly, it looks good. Nothing woke is standing out immediately, and that last scene seems like a straight relationship, which is a nice change of pace.

Have you played a GTA game? Yeah, urban degeneracy is the setting, it always has been. This is the current urban degeneracy. Having a character who is woke does not a woke TV show make, unless you are telling me that PC Principal makes South Park Woke.

Rumor from an ex-Sony dev that:
1. GTA VI will be a 1 year console exclusive (IE not on PC). Rockstar did this for GTA V and RDR 2, so its plausible, sadly.
2. GTA VI will be bundled with the PS5 Pro launch.
I might buy this - though I have mixed feelings about playing any sort of shooter with a controller, and honestly I'd rather wait a year to play a game like GTA VI "properly" than get a sub-par experience on console.

What a spoil sport. Honestly, GTA's willingness to have characters that sound like dumbasses who just wandered out of a reality show is part of the appeal.

considering the trailers I think they are going for either a Bonnie and Clyde thing or that girl is gonna be the protagonist. still doesn't look bad at all.

They've already confirmed the Bonnie and Clyde inspiration and that both characters will be playable. So we'll have two playable protagonists to switch between.

Lol, never thought you'd complain for the lack of they stuff.
Me, I am all for some more diversity in gaming relationships as long as the characters look like Bayo and 2B and are having nice,
er, poliamorous non-cis quality time together.
Now for the serious bit, me I have not played a GTA since Vice City, which was only slightly better than 3 IMHO.
I don't know what is going in that franchise, and unless I get the above I wouldn't care.
But it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 is really trying to copy it in places, so yeah.
I don't care about that itself, more that I knew if they were advertising a gay relationship, it would be Saint's Row Reboot all over again, not a good game.
In 5 you get to play as a crazy guy who in his introduction you fuck a guy from a MCs girl and then you stomp his face in and then go and kill his biker MC
