...Musk's next major building project at Boca Chica: liquid oxygen generator.
I think they have a LOX plant and storage under construction as we speak; however building one big enough to service Starbase, and building it in the middle of all the other work, takes time.

There are also rumors Musk wants to use the Boring Company to create traffic tunnels so they don't need to keep blocking roads in Boca Chica when they move parts or rockets.

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has successfully finished testing. The next step will apparently be transporting it to the launch site.

Well, looks like Musk is going to try for the sub-orbital flight this coming month.

Not with 10k feet. They apparently had a 5k foot square footprint one in the past for ground testing. This new round 10k tall one is replacing it.

I had not realized that this Firefly Aerospace group had a engine called 'Reaver'; they ought to invite the cast and Joss Whedon to the next launch.

Article on the Future of the International Space Station. First launched in 1998 and "completed" in 2011, NASA's agreements with international partners is set to terminate in 2024 but NASA is looking for an extension until 2030 at least for the station and its only microgravity laboratory.

Meanwhile there are ongoing private ventures to either expand and/or create a new Space Station such as by Texas-based Axiom Space and Colorado-based Sierra Space. There is also an ongoing project by China to develop their ongoing Tiangong Space Station whose first module was launched into space last June.

"Elon Musk - Communist-approved and -endorsed!"
That'd be one hella scenario for a "Both the USA and the UdSSR survive to the year 2022" ATL.
Or maybe 'approval of fellow rocket engineering and space tech' people is what we should think of it as.

Trying to make this about old politics, instead of modern cooperation and recognition of a achievement for all humanity in what Musk is doing, shows how fucking petty you are.
