I don't get it...
It's the state of Georgia transplanted to the *country* of Georgia.
Okay that blooper was entirely on me I want paying attention to the background.
In any case the U.S. is now locked into the affairs of the middle east and will have to secure land and air rights to protect Georgia, Russian and U.S. tensions escalate to say nothing of Iran.
Thia would be the single biggest wrench as possible to throw into geopolitics...

I don't have comparison with real map but I think it also devoured/displaced Armenia and Azerbeijan

Iran also seems to lose Tabriz, one of their major cities.

I am not 100% sure, but I think Turkey might have lost Kars and Van.

As a native of (the state of) Georgia, took me far too long to figure it out. Admittedly don't know much about the country of Georgia, but I will say I enjoyed seeing the mixture of the two. Do wonder how this would affect my Grandparents though, they grew up rural pretty close to where Tblisi ended up.
Also, Tskhathens (I think it's mixing Athens with Tskhinvali, if I'm reading Goggle maps right?). Wonder if there's any other mixed cities like that I'm missing. The other ones in the state I'm familiar with are all there, but geography has never really been my thing.
