The benchwarmers who never see a minute of game action are just as important as the starters who play most of the game because they're who the starters practice with when they're preparing for the real thing.

A guy with an MBA I used to work with told me about a class where they were divided up into groups for class projects. Come midterms each group was told to expel one member.Fine, but that's not the point. The point is that there are lazy teammates out there who still skate by on the back of those who actually pull their weight, despite having done little or nothing to deserve it.
I had a couple of group projects like that a few years ago, with one person even telling me he was too sick to have emailed me in advance (my school had an internal email system), even though firing one off ahead of time wasn't that hard. Don't know why someone would think I'm dumb enough to buy that, but whatever.
That professor did not screw around when teaching a weed-out class.
The guys and gals who failed already had Engineering degrees and you aren't getting one of those unless you're basically going for a math minor too because Partial Differential Equations effectively requires one and you're not allowed to take most specialized engineering classes until you've passed that....Well, I suppose that's one way to tell who's cut out for a Master's and who's not. Not to mention a test of character, which I'm sure the "expelled" group members who were the only ones to survive midterms were relieved to have passed.

And the right to arm bears, and we aren't the only ones who have had bear soldiers.Must've been a damn tough class, then.
Anyway, here's another one:
