Thirty two years ago, Donald Dillbeck carjacked a Mother while her Children and Grandchildren were inside a store and killed her when she allegedly resisted by cutting her throat with a paring knife. Donald had recently fled from a work-release program which was part of a life sentence he had previously received for murdering a Sheriffs Deputy years earlier.

New bill has hospitals asking patients under medicaid about their immigration status, thus causing a near fifty percent drop in medicaid bills for illegal immigrants.
Medicaid, which is funded on a federal and state level for US citizens too poor to afford medical insurance, is not meant for use by illegal immigrants unless there is an emergency exception (ie pregnancy or traumatic injury). Prior to this bill passing in Florida, hospitals wouldn't even ask the immigration status of patients even though it wouldn't affect whether they would be treated or not.
Medical care for undocumented/illegal aliens cost the State of Florida $566 million dollars in the last half of 2023 alone. This bill meanwhile helped drop Medicaid Expenditures on Illegal Aliens from $172 million in 2022 to around $70 million only two years later.
