Up till 25 years of age your body is producing so many hormones it fucks with your head. Hell the Romans required everyone under 25 to be accompanied by a lawyer if they planned to do something major.

Part of it is the 'Free Love' movement of the 60's. Young people going away to college where they think they can have risk free sex thanks to the condom and the birth control pill. That is why people are wandering these days. That plus the lack of moral guidance.

huh it is weird thinking of myself as being above 85% of guys. i guess it makes sense. i want to say like 1/3 guys around me are taller. then again my state is rated as 5th tallest average so there is that.

While it is absolutely true that there are major differences between men and women.
A male slut who is looking for pump and dumps is still a massive red flag for women too.

The most obvious one being...
how can she know that he isn't intending to pump and dump her too?

True, that is a red flag to a woman with some self respect, but I was speaking more to the difference in pair bonding.

A man with multiple past partners isn't going to damage his ability to pair bond quite as much as a woman with an equal amount of partners would.

Try climbing off your high horse and look at reality.
A tall husband produces taller children.
Taller children are:
1. more socially commanding
2. more physically strong
3. have bigger brains (direct correlation with height), bigger brains roughly correlates with intellect.
Right, but the vast majority of men are under 6 foot, so unless you get into comical hypergamy that's just not going to happen.
If a woman makes it explicit they want a husband for eugenic reasons, go ahead. But she better be a 6 foot wonder woman with 130 IQ as well.
Lets look at reality again, are all of these women demanding tall men stunners themselves? Not really. That's called being a hypocrite, and I don't believe we should promote hypocrites over reasonable people.

I don't think you should have to be attracted to people similar to you.

I don't like tall girls much. In 6'3. A 6' girl is a bit tall for my preferences.

So now eugenics is a BAD thing? Which is it? I know you didn't bring up the eugenics argument but my point is about hypocrisy.
You are tall but don't want to date tall people, that's fine because people are obsessed with height so you're going against the grain.
But if you were a woman and 6'3 you'd be asking for 7 foot men which is absurd.

The original claim was that it is "retarded" and "vain" to care about such traits at all.
Which I disagree with, those things are very important and valuable.

If you want to now argue that it is hypocritical for a low mate value person to demand a high mate value partner... thus pricing themselves out of the market...
1. that is a completely different argument
2. sure, I totally agree with you on this new line of arguments

It is natural to be attracted to more attractive people. But if you don't want to be alone, you need to take a very good look at your own value. rather than unrealistically pine for the most attractive people in the world while being sub par.

Seems reasonable to me.

TL;DW, woman buys house at county auction, city tears it down two weeks afterwards, and before the paperwork for the deed even went through. City claimed that they found home to be structurally unsound two years prior and now has nothing to say for itself. County apparently didn't realize it was on a demolition list, or if it did they didn't bother to notify bidders or the winner.

That's the plane which basically by design (due to incompetent designers) just randomly crashes into the ground right?
Yep, and almost all of the issues stem from the execs at Boeing making decisions to cut corners, and secondary 'optional' sensors, on the design.

They also never actually put the stuff in the manuals to go with the planes, so the pilot's couldn't know.

Now they want to argue that because the deaths were 'painless', Boeing shouldn't have to pay for the 'suffering' of the victims.

That's a whole new level of 'wtf' I would not have believe even Boeing would sink to.

Yup!

IIRC it's all because the airlines and Boeing wanted a cheap upgrade of the then-newest 737 model which was already pushing the limits of a 1960s design instead doing the right thing and starting from scratch to meet the requirements along with all of the expense and hassle which that entails.
