What the fuck? There is no way that is real.

I think Maryland did the same thing.

Now, I think this is probably performance art from the left because they have to know no such law that so egregiously violates the constitutional rights of the newborn would survive any serious court challenge. Even a retard like Sotomayor would start sounding like Robert Bork off that shit.

The law is real, it's AB 2223 if you want to look it up.

That said Fact-Checkers have explained that it's not meant to be used to excuse infanticide, and as we all know, laws are never used in a way the lawmaker didn't intend so it's all good.

The bill can be found here:

The funniest part is that they've edited out every mention of the word "woman" and replaced it with "pregnant person" or "individual". Here's an archived link for those that want a look-see at the actual document.

On the face of it, the law is intended to protect people that got caught in fringe cases. The two incidents they cite are women that got sentenced when their babies died from their drug abuse and got nailed under murder laws. Hence why there's the post-birth period in the law. It protects the mother if the baby dies after birth from actions she took during pregnancy. I personally don't find those examples as compelling as the law's drafters do but it's all coherent under the mentality that it's only murder if it's intentional.

Reading outside the lines and taking into account some things I've heard about Newsome it appears to be a political twofer. On one hand, it's a political stunt that burnishes California's left-wing bonafides and gives Newsome more sheen for the upcoming governor's election and potentially a future presidential run. On the other, it opens California up as an abortion tourism location which is ghoulishly useful for both political and potentially economic purposes.

The internal logic is coherent and even arguably benevolent, but as Bear Ribs already mentioned, abortion laws are always toxic pellets intended to expand the ease of abortion as an institution because the modern feminist movent sees it as some sort of holy necessity that liberates women from the burden of child-rearing.

And frees them to be wage slaves in the post-modern world.

Museum Ships were going to the dogs even before the virus presumably disrupted funding. Quite unfortunate that more people don't want to examine such unique places.

RON/PLC was a wonderful country.
Museum ships like USS The Sullivans really should be permanently drydocked. That runs into the "Money now or money later?" problem. Later might mean never.
Looking at ORP Błyskawica which is simply attached to the pier in Gdynia.
I don't know if it should, maybe it is better not to cut costs on maintaining old ships and to send them to the shipyard on a regular basis for repair?
The Błyskawica, as it happens, is the oldest destroyer in the world and she is still pretty good for her age, even a year ago she was sent to the shipyard in Gdynia to be repaired and repainted in another of her wartime patterns.
And nothing but a breakwater protects it from the waters of the Baltic Sea. She is in a state of theoretical buoyancy.*
*This means that she can float when towed by tugs, but because her boilers were destroyed in 69 and the repair was too expensive, they and the ship's screws were removed and she took the place of the badly maintained ORP Burza as a museum ship (a bit of a pity, because it meant that if she was kept, the place of the two oldest destroyers would be occupied by these two ships).

Intermittant yard time is the "money later" alternative. Sitting moored at a pier does result in slow wear-and-tear from things like corrosion, gentle waves, &c.

Sorta like letting a car sit outside all winter ...

Threadban - NSFW stuff in an SFW forum. Also don't even post censored NSFW images with underage kids. Do it again, that's a TOS violation
this is an Image from a video in Hunter Biden's laptop. Now obviously I am not going to show the video, but to explain, this is President Joe Biden, and in the video he whips this fifteen year old Asian girl.

It depends, old cars can corrode badly after winter, especially old Fiats in Poland (one winter and the door sills are eaten through with rust), or Opel, but they generally have trouble with it.
And this reminds me of the requirements for cars in the People Poland which required splash guards, but not necessarily the floor of the car. So such a Polonez could pass the tests despite the fact that it had no floor  (and these things could lose everything, literally everything, fortunately only the less unlucky copies survived to our times)

Okay, what should I say here? Biden is a degenerate. It looks bad, already that and what else is sitting there. But no, Biden is a sacred cow, a hair won't fall off his head.

Even a brand new modern car will need some tender care come spring if left to sit outside without moving for several months. At a minimum it'll have a dead battery.

EDIT:

Yeah, she really should be dry-docked. She's a smaller ship, too, so it'd be a lot more doable than with the Texas, and guess what's finally getting done to her (last I heard, anyway)?
USS Texas is getting some drydock yard time but isn't staying there permanently.

The stolen firearms belong to local law enforcement. 🤔

TFA also mentions that pawn shops have access to a government database of firearms reported stolen but firearms dealers do not. 😡

Don't post the picture on the forum. Anywhere. Even censored. We consider even claimed, censored NSFW photos of kids to be TOS violations. If you can see a kid, and the picture is NSFW, it's gone.

Note that the staff isn't saying whether the picture is real or not, that's besides the point. We are going to stay 100% away from any chance of touching CP laws.

We aren't coming down like a Rod from God on this one solely because it was censored and the person made an honest mistake. That's it. No one here gets another mistake.

Note, you are allowed to discuss the photo if you want. That's fine. Just don't post the photo here. Don't even post links.

Fucking hell! For those of us who were viewing this thread before you removed that image, it's likely it was automatically stored by our browsers somewhere on our PC's/browsers' cache files, right? Could our users get in trouble for that, even on a technicality?
