All the comments like "yeah people need to chill" need to fuck off and go live somewhere else.

Can I just say these shortages don't look simply made out of dumb incompetence and over-reliance on imports/exports excetera ?

Like, ok, the stuff with China is tense.

The consequence of the lockdown is shipping is fucked.

The vax also.

But I can't put my finger that is something beyond these 3.

It does seem to be that suddenly there are not enough truck drivers or port capacity. But some of that is port capacity was reduced, and some some supply reserves have been depleted. The fact that my local port here in Long Beach was not operating 24 hours until recently despite loads of ships waiting out in the harbor I feel is telling how some are standing in the way of solving supply issues.

Yup, they started cutting Truckers back in April 2020.

Truckers began shutting down, doing strikes and slowdowns in protest of vaccine mandates back in January this year.

This has been building for some time but since the MSM doesn't like covering it, the consequences of ignoring protests by non-MSM-approved groups tends to appear to just suddenly happen by magic.

I haven't heard yet in my countries (yet) of supply chain problems : though in Italy we are striking in the ports of Trieste and Genova and few others because so many got ruined by the lockdowns and now the vax passports.

In Brazil, well, I love that country but it has its flaws. I know we have a similar problem to Turkey but so far thanks to Bolsonaro we are seemingly doing decent.

In Sao Paulo they attempted to follow the French-Italian line of the vax pass but when more than a few people grumbled out it they just went "ok it will be only with 500 people or more to show your vax". For once the "Brazilian little way" seemed to have done something decent!
In Rio, the Mayor has basically instituted a vax pass by executive decree, which was upheld by the Brazilian Supreme Court. The City government has outsourced enforcement by harassing business owners, which enforce their decree in their premises, so they won't have their business shut down.

What is worse? He's doing it so that he'll have an excuse for opening everything by December, and be able to rack in the tourist income of the year-end and(later on) Carnival holidays.

Didn't know this...how the rest the country is doing?

Are you replying to my comment or something else ?
He is responding to your comment. And as far as I can tell, he is generally right. Mayors of big cities fall in with the vax pass agenda, by and large.

I must note there is also a lot of disobedience regarding lockdowns and vaccine mandates in Rio, but it tends to be outside the places tourists visit - no one will care if a shitty bar in Coelho Neto is disobeying the lockdown mandate and has been disobeying it since mid-April 2020(true example, BTW), but they sure care that a pub on Ipanema stops obeying social distancing guidelines. Big problem is, I live in one area tourists frequent(and work for the government), so I have to abide by this crap.

Yeah, the countryside doesn't much care by capitals do. And it doesn't help a lot of Brazilians, especially the left and globalists types suffer from massive cases of what we call Stray Dog Syndrome, meaning they think Brazil is somehow especially bad at everything and everything outside is better. I have seen people fawn over the UK lockdown as a example, without a hint of irony.

The same people who call Bolsonaro a genocidal maniac over his handling of the pandemic and who called him a dictator wannabe for clashing with the supreme court and not being a complete pushover for politics would have gladly surrendered their freedom if he had come out and said "I will be bringing the army to enforce lockdown and quarantine ta okei?"

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Huh yeah that Loudoun County thing does look legit:

As well as the transfer of the trans sexual predator to another school and more sexual assaults potentially.

That same school got their funding fucked. Which parent wants their kids to get raped in the bathroom? Fuck no they'll just take their kids to a different school than the school that covers that shit up.

On that I disagree. I'm half-convinced that if Bolsonaro had gone for shutting down everything like these people say they wanted, the same people would have called him an genocidal maniac because he'd be making people lose their jobs and starve. It never was about the lives, it was about using COVID as a club to hit him with(something that they succeeded in doing).
