It's pretty standard for the justice department.

They raided stone I believe. Super early morning with fully kitted out fbi agents. And CNN tipped off before hand to be there at a certain time to get pictures that looked good for the Russia gate propaganda.

They raided project Veritas as well. The guy had Biden's daughters diary sent to him but the stuff in it was so bad he sent it to the fbi and sat on the story. Then the fully kitted out fbi raided him and took all his documents because he might have copies of illegally obtained literature, aka the diary. Oh then the fbi leaked everything they could from his stuff to the NYT.

This raid is just one more example of two tiers of justice. One tier is protected and the other targeted.

Arrest them all and go through the FBIs stuff with a fine toothed comb. Release the good agents and try the rest for sedition.

Not american, but the USA gives me a vibe of late Roman Republic combined with eunuch government trough a puppet emperor (Biden). Nothing will come of this, or at least nothing but some performative sound bites, in all likelihood.

The Dems will try to cheat again this fall, and in 2024, and well...do not expect a Red Wave to be 'allowed' to happen. Expect any GOP candidate who poses a threat to the Dems in a to get the same treatment Trump is getting, in order to be 'forced off the ballot'.

I hope and pray I am wrong on this, but I'm not going to pretend that this is likely to result in any sort of 'general uprising' in the public or even just on the Right.

From the Left's perspective I see a few goals for them in this action:
1. The most obvious is GET TRUMP!! Remove him as a threat so he can no longer run for President. This protects the bureaucrats from the biggest enemy they can see.
2. It's going to show the Left's base that, "See! We're working to protect the Democracy from evulz!" Fires up their base, and gets them talking about how awesome the people I charge are...instead of nonsense like purely transitory inflation that's Trump's falt anyway.

This is what the founding fathers warned against. The federal government has grown to large and to powerful, and now we have an administration that gives zero fucks about the rights of the people or the republican governmental processes.

We let this happen, our parents let this happen, and our grandparents let this happen.
