I understand the "stop attacking individual cops they aren't all bad" bit. Because even at its absolute worse it the 80s and 90s during the ramparts fiasco and everything else. Even the LAPD didn't have a rep as fucked up as the FBI.

But individual agents? Good guy Feds? They've always been an alarming minority and most retired in disgust over the last decade.

His words means they need to be called out more.

Exactly.

Theyre begging guys like Pence to come to their aid. Means that they aren't accustomed to the spotlight. Need more!

Imagine the NYPD acting like this?

Oh wait they did and Giualini forced like 20% of them to resign or face prison time. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

If the LAPD had the opportunity, they would be.

In the 90s when they were pcp'd out of their minds yeah I can see that.

But segal/Cohen's LAPD? Pre Parker's "reforms" (re extra judicial killings of any Cop Parker thought was dirty. Still wild Roddenberry based Spock off this guy.)

I don't think so. They had ample opportunity to do this kind of stuff and they were smart enough to maintain a veneer of professionalism.

Mind ye "at least these dudes knew not to use the kitchen as a sewer" is damningly faint praise.

Anyway, over under on Republican Senators still down to abolish the FBI by the end of the year? I put it at 1.5 because of Rand Paul.

It depends on if the Chow family drug Cartel....err I mean Mitch McConnell's totally upstanding in laws. Think they've become rabid dogs or not.

And on how many Maga/AF candidates are serious.

I'll take your odds!

I respect his courage.

It isn't courage, its tactics. He knows this adds a layer of symbolism and weight and history to him going there to do battle with the glowie appointed Judge.

He also is a very vengeful person and the notion of being able to publicly humiliate the courts, while making it a media circus whether they want it or not is probably too enticing to pass up.
