It's a 120yr old sci-fi flick that was done in colour by painting the frames by hand. The women wearing hot pants would have been about my great-great grandmother's age at the time and airplanes didn't yet exist.

Another good one is The Story of the Kelly Gang from 1906. Only fragments of it still exist.

I skimmed through it, no robo-woman that you always see. Also very topically 1920's, in regards to classism and the divide between the working class and the capitalist elites.

Interestingly, in the scene with the harem (eternal garden) several of the women are nude from the waste up, with just gauze to blur their nipples. On the one hand, it's Wiemar Germany, one of the most hedonistic societies of that century, on the other it's the silver screen pre-1980's.
