But the issue with twitter is on every thread for me, and I don't know what could be causing it.
Are you using an ad or script blocker of any kind?
Yes, Adblock Plus, AdNauseam, and uBlock Origin.
Turn them all off for a moment and see if you still have a problem.
If Twitter works with them all off, then start turning them on and off in various combinations until you figure out which one is causing the issue.
That did not do the trick. All three blockers are turned off, I restarted Firefox, and the twitter still doesn't load properly.

Unblock trackers, and then see which of your ad blockers is blocking it.
