Election 2020 Election Fraud: Let's face it, this year will be a shitshow

Yup.

Indigenous peoples (like the Sentenalese) would be fine. Everyone else would be screwed six ways to Sunday because we don't know how to do what they took for granted. Can you start a campfire without an ignition source like a match, lighter, or flint-and-steel?

In theory I know how to do it using a dry pointed stick and dry piece of wood. In practice it would be a long, cold, and dark night because I have no clue how find pieces of wood appropriate to the task.

True. But there are societies with people who still remember that.I would die in Warsaw, just like other polish city dwellers, but part of villagers would survive. They could even keep working trucks or small planes.Certainly they would made tools from iron.

Clearly, Californian Democrats don't agree with you; otherwise, they wouldn't be doing what they're doing. I wonder why? Maybe they know something you don't.
Maybe they want to try to get more House seats. Maybe they want to get more state legislature seats. Maybe after making all that noise about mail-in ballots following up on their words was the path of least resistance. None of those possible reasons are "almost lost the gubernatorial recall election."
They rigged the recall of course.

The fact that a recall attempt even got to a vote terrified them so best make sure they can find as many mail in ballots as they need to win everything from now on.
If they rigged the recall then their existing rigging techniques were clearly up to snuff.

I thought it was relatively easy to get a recall election going in California?

What sort of moron would risk something so important on a "good enough" system? We are talking about safeguarding their core stronghold here. They can't rely on "good enough"! They need to be sure.

Last time they relied on "good enough" was in 2016, where the current media apparatus was "good enough" to keep the upstart Orange Man with no political experience from taking the place that Obama had prepared for Hillary, and look how that turned out!

Depends on how much risk there is that the solution will backfire, and the opportunity cost of doing that vs. doing something else, I suppose.

In any case, what I was originally trying to question was the claim that Democrats "nearly lost" California, and then I also argued against the idea that the reason for implementing mail-in ballots was "clearly" in response to nearly losing that election when I think there are other more convincing potential reasons. So really I think what you're saying is a non sequitur to that. For example, if you're saying, "Sure, it wasn't really that close, but why not make their victory even more certain?" you've already agreed with me.

Fair enough, but the issue is I don't trust any numbers coming from California after 2020. In fact, I am now skeptical of how much of California's slide into complete DNC domination was legitimate in hindsight. Even in more Red states like AZ and GA attempts at audits are blocked and stonewalled to shit, California will never agree to any audit. And now they go and pull something like this? While so many people (whose concerns are censored, but still) question mail in voting?

It smells to me of fear. The fact they actually had to vote on the recall was enough to spook the shit out of them. Yes it sounds like a conspiracy theory. But look outside. We have been living on a bad Alex Jones episode from 1999 since March 2020.

It also may cost the DA his job if he doesn't indict them. They have confessed to committing a crime. If the Dems are smart they will have them fall upon their swords to appease the other side.

DA doesn't Indict? His competition can hold it over his head as a sign he is not on the side of law and order.

Things change slowly and then all at once, this is statistically speaking the last 'good' year we get next year the hard times officially start.
Geologists have a term for this: "Punctuated Equilibrium".

Most of the time things change slowly, almost imperceptibly, on this planet. Then a fucking volcano or meteor fucks up the neighborhood and produces very, very rapid change.

Trump's 2016 win was a political earthquake, Biden's steal was a political Toba Eruption, and the ash cloud is going to linger a while.
