From an outside perspective it seems as if the Tories have become experts at throwing away massive parliamentary majorities by not following through on even many of the simpler election promises.
Yeah, the behavior of the Tories the last couple of years and Boris in particular has made it clear that the Republican Party and the Tories are not really on the same side, as much as both are described as "right wing". I think Sargon described the British's choice right now as "globalism with a British paint job, or globalism with a European paint job", or something like that.
There is no properly nationalist party of any real significance in England right now, especially since UKIP decided to self emolate after the European election. Just as Germany had no real Nationalist party before the ADF started gaining seats in the last couple of years.
I think we really need to narrow down that this is a fight between nationalist/x name vs globalists/communists.
probably need to figure out what that x is: Libertarianism isn't quite right, traditionalism isn't quite right either. maybe its a political belief that doesn't really have a good word for it. Right wing sorta speaks to it, but I'd prefer to have a more descriptive word for it: Right wing, while we all here sorta know what were talking about, doesn't describe the core of it very well.
