Actually, it's 18 of the shut down plants are down for that reason. 6 more were down for the same reason and that spawned a system-wide search which discovered the other 12. At least that's what I got from reading the article.
Going to be a third El Nina year running so a cold winter too for Europe (dry here in southern California AGAIN, what? no rain in the desert??) Again, I recommend if you have a fireplace but it's not functional get it working again or fit a wood stove/fireplace if you live in Germany.

weren't they banning wood heating because it is too polluting for carbon?

Gas is about 3 dollar the gallon in Brazil atm, which is pretty funny to me.
I think Brazil has some decent reserves of oil and Bolsonaro outright said he is buying discounted Russian oil.

Gimme dat.

Those in the know saw this comming the moment Russia went into Ukraine.

Expect Europeans to nationalize all russian property in their countries and for russians to nationalize all their property in russia in turn.
