Spare the dramatic for someone who cares. You know it's not about that, i know it's not about that, we don't need to bullshit ourselves.
Happens any time people haggle at a food market by the way.

Find me one country that likes to buy oil for more rather than less, especially outside of the environmentalist west. Supply and demand work both ways.

If it's so stupid why is Russia whining about it?

Well if their energy is going to be so much cheaper, it may accidentally go under the price limit, problem solved :D
What difference does it make whether Russia has to sell oil at a big discount due to the "moronic" price limit, or because it has to give a super special friend discount to India to sell the oil EU didn't buy? It's the same price in the end.
:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
>Claims he is anti-communist.
> Endorses price caps.

The seller and the food grower also have an option, cut production, or just not harvest and not sell part of the crop and let the price go up.

But I guess you can't tolerate otherthink or anything that goes against your Polish Russia Derangement Syndrome.

Whatever, we both know how this will go, you will try a few rhetorical turkish delight-stretching exercises and posting MSM/google search gibberish you extract from the interwebz to back up your point, then I will ridicule you and point to supply going down and black markets forming when price controls are implemented, then we will use ever more and more Eastern European "pleasantries" at each other, and you will probably go in a cycle and repeat yourself and I will ridicule you for it.

However, it is late, I had a very shitty day and I'd rather enjoy same tomato sauce juice mixed with chilly and Latin Amerikan Raki/Vodka that stinks of charcoal and sulfur with a dash of vinegar acid.(What, I can get booze but there are no grocery stores open at this hour, so I had to improvise!)

So, whaddaya say we just skip all this bullshit and we both just shut the fuck up, before all this ends up in DUmbAss and somebody of higher authority has to come over and tell us to stop bitching at each-other, eh?

Oh the irony...
This obviously isn't an attempt to lower oil prices through price caps, like commies would do.
This is a clear attempt at causing economic damage against said producer, it's not a surprise side effect.
The seller and the food grower also have an option, cut production, or just not harvest and not sell part of the crop and let the price go up.
Welp, in this case those are options absolutely within limits of acceptability for the authors of the price cap.
Russia will fill whatever oil storage they have and then cut production and sit on it until the end of war with less money? In that scenario in fact the hardline faction gets what it wanted in the end, because this price cap is a compromise replacement for a general sanction against buying Russian oil.

The possibility of black markets forming is already accounted for. Secondary sanctions are on the table for that very occasion.

Yeah, sure, keep diluting yourself.

I don't know if you get this, but oil is kinda inelastic supply wise, and losing a large chunk of output will fuck over the west more than it does Russia.
Also, do you actually think OPEC+ likes this, eh?

https://news.yahoo.com/opec-not-increase-oil-production-160514654.html

On Sunday, OPEC and other major oil producing nations, including Russia, announced that they would continue to cut supplies by 2 million barrels a day, CNN reported. That maintains a policy set in October — to the chagrin of many, including President Joe Biden — and is expected to continue through the end of 2023.

OPEC+ said in a statement that while it had reaffirmed its October decision, it is ready to meet at any time to “address market developments if necessary.”

OPEC+ also agreed to schedule its next meeting for February and the one after that for June, according to OilPrice.com. Previously, the group had been meeting every month to coordinate production. Fewer meetings could suggest that the current cap on production will remain well into the future.

Then again, you were one of the geniuses on here that kept claiming that Russia will run out of missiles "Any day now" since March and that they were taking chips out of washing machines to use in their military equipment...

By the way, did you actually get your conscription notice yet, or are you gonna run away and hide like all the other chickenhawks do whenever their bullshit leads to an escalation?

It's a larger chunk of Russia's hard currency supply than Russia is of world oil supply, and that's assuming Russia would just completely stop selling, black market or cap compliant, at all.
Do they need to like this?

Yes, using AShMs and SAMs for ground attack poorly is totally a sign of having no issues with missile stockpiles at all, and neither are attempts to shop for SRBMs and drones in Iran of all places :D

You do realize they control this shit and that there are buyers other than the G-7/EU, which makes, what 1/8 of the world population.
Asia and Africa and Latin America want the same standards of life as the west, boy, they can get there with cheap energy, and all they are getting from the west is sanctimonious reeing and green preaching.

Yes, using AShMs and SAMs for ground attack poorly is totally a sign of having no issues with missile stockpiles at all :D

You mean those missiles they used as decoys to get the Ukrainian AA to switch on their radars and paint itself like the USA did in Iraq?

Also, good job trying to engdge in more topic changes.

You and your buddies kept saying that that Russia will run out of missiles and other ammo within months, they are still shelling your beloved proxy hard, just yesterday, in fact.

Had Russia run out of missiles and artillery to use against Ukraine or not?

No.

Has Russia used microchips from kitchen appliances to build aircraft and missiles?

No, because those are probably not reprogrammable and military equipment uses hardened electronics.

You are pulling your usual rhetorical bullshit.

What conscription notice? Did you mistake Poland for Russia? Everyone is telling you about to get better news sources for a reason, you would be less yelled at for your Russia stronk bent.

With how many missiles, how many get through, and why are they tolerating such an attrition rate instead of doing real saturation attacks like a proper military would in such circumstances?

Soviets diplomacy were like that - but, since it worked, they do not saw need to change. And,they could be right - Democrats ONCE gave part of Europe for nothing to Moscov, they could do that again.

So,do not mock their talents - since, they almost always worked.

Oh, noes, suicidal and mass produced surveillance drones whose main advantages are low price, containing nothing really sensitive where components are concerned and expendability are made with cheap-ass, COTS equipment.

I mean it is not like the Bayraktar uses them, too.

And the original CIA drones:

Ghost Wars: The Secret History of the CIA, Afghanistan, and Bin Laden, from the Soviet Invasion to September 10, 2001

Clarridge wondered if technology might not solve the problem that human intelligence seemed unable to crack. He loved the Counterterrorist Center’s engineers on the science and technology side; they took what Clarridge liked to call a “Radio Shack approach” to problem-solving. Clarridge commissioned them to work on a highly classified pilotless drone equipped with intercept equipment, an infrared camera, and low-noise wooden propellers. It might fly overhead at about 2,500 feet and locate the American hostages. He spent $7 million on five prototypes in what he dubbed the Eagle Program.

Another use for the drones might be sabotage operations in Libya. Clarridge wanted to load one drone with two hundred pounds of C-4 plastic explosives and one hundred pounds of ball bearings. His plan was to fly it onto Tripoli’s air field at night, blow it up, and destroy “a whole bunch” of commercial airliners sitting unoccupied on the ground. He also tried to load small rockets onto the drones that could be used to fire at predesignated targets.31 But all of the technology was in its infancy. And Clarridge made some of his colleagues very nervous, especially in the era of Iran-Contra.

Clarridge wanted to kill the terrorists outright. He found the American government’s position against assassination of leaders who sponsored terrorism to be “hypocritical.” The president would authorize the military “to carry out air attacks that may or may not hit and kill the real target” but would not authorize the Counterterrorist Center to stealthily assassinate the same man. He asked, “ Why is an expensive military raid with heavy collateral damage to our allies and to innocent children okay—more morally acceptable than a bullet to the head
...
The Pentagon tended to invest in large, fast, complex drones that resembled pilotless fighter jets. These were very expensive, technically sophisticated, and politically unpopular. The CIA preferred smaller, lighter, cheaper drones that could take pictures and intercept communications in situations where satellites or high-flying spy planes did not offer enough coverage. Its experiments were easier to fund, but many at the Pentagon and in Congress dismissed the smaller prototypes as clunky toys of marginal value

Unmanned: Drones, Data, and the Illusion of Perfect Warfare
The role Predator played that night is exquisitely dissected by Richard Whittle in his Predator: The Secret Origins of the Drone Revolution. The air force–flown CIA Predator over Kabul that day and night, equipped literally with a Radio Shack black box receiver, picked up radio signals from an evident al Qaeda convoy and tracked it to Wazir Akbar Khan Street, the targets labeled AOM 592 and 597. Air force F-15Es flying in the vicinity were called to attack the target, Whittle writes, based upon his sources, and bombed it twice, contradicting what the paper trail said; but the F-15 mission was later also lauded in a semiofficial air force history, “the longest fighter combat mission in history.”20 The important point, though, is that the Predator didn’t fire on Atef’s house, instead going on to shoot a single Hellfire at another house—AOM 666?—that a group of people escaped to from Atef’s house, watching them as they ran through the streets of Kabul.

Armia wysyła wezwania na obowiązkowe ćwiczenia wojskowe. Tego nie unikniesz!

Did you get drafted? No wonder. Mass conscription into the army began. You need to know
The Polish army sends reservists calls for military exercises. The army is expected to receive 200,000 this year. people. They have 14 days to pack and check in at the military unit. Compulsory military exercises require taking free leave, for which a small monetary equivalent is due, so they think how to avoid conscription.

Yeah, OK, dude...

Also i did notice that while you are trying to make me argue for chinese telephone versions of stuff you saw on twitter, you are completely ignoring the counterpoints from my previous post both about the oil trade and missile saturation strikes :D
Is this your way of admitting you lost?
Oh, noes, suicidal and mass produced surveillance drones whose main advantages are low price, containing nothing really sensitive where components are concerned and expendability are made with cheap-ass, COTS equipment.
You would have a point if it was actually cheap :D

I mean it is not like the Bayraktar uses them, too.
Look, it's an actual aircraft engine. Not a moped engine like in certain other model.

Seems like a lot has changed in drones over what, 20 years.

Yup, my name is Marduk...
Again, are you an angsty 13 year old or are you just acting this way because that's where your mental development stopped?

Ah, so pretty ordinary selective specialist training turned into clickbait for people like you.
Yes, it may be surprise of to some that reservists need to be kept trained to be worth more than meatshields, but it is a thing, and not just in Poland, nor just in this year.
Are you seriously thinking this is some kind of HAPPENING!!! or are you just clowning around again, as one latter would lower my opinion of your character, and the former, your intellect.

Yeah, OK, dude...

Again, my name is not Marduk!
You do know that it's not longer cool for someone of your age to act like this once over 16?

Yeah, sure, more evasion and more whataboutism and even more off-topic spam coming from you, as usual.

If it was rotuine and minor I'd doubt that the Polish media would care that much to cover it.

Also, the original Bayraktar engine exists since the the late 80s-early 90s, and computing and imaging technology in the civilian sector has also improved.

Oh, and there is the minor fact that Poland is calling 200 000 reservists for training, this would be the equivalent of Russia calling up close to a million in population terms, since they are roughly about 5x Poland's population.
Finland, no idea, and I don't care, really.

So, yeah, skimming over your post it is just more whataboutism.

I want accountability, but not at the cost of combat effectiveness, or making removing corruption completely be the hinge on which aid is hung.

Then again, you already admitted you do not view the current Ukrainian gov as legit, and do not think Ukraine has a right to exist.

So really, in your view, it is not just the 20 billion that is the issue. That's just a cover for your continued kneejerk dislike of Zelenski and DC.

The petty spite that caused you to stop listening to people in the invasion thread, just because they insulted your ignorance and kneejerk reactions, and your posts here, show you do not give one single fuck about actually helping Ukraine, you are just looking for reasons to cut aid and grasping onto any one you can.
I'm sorry you feel that way. Well, less sorry than absolutely livid; but that's why I waited a week to respond. To hopefully let the emotions die down so I don't say anything I'd regret. Honestly, regardless of what you believe, I actually do care about helping the Ukraine people; it's just that you and I have very, very different ideas as to what constitutes "helping" and I'd rather we not end up propping up yet another authoritarian regime if we can avoid it.

I doubt anything I say would convince you of that though. Heck, there's nothing you could say at this point to convince me that you care one iota what happens to the Ukraine people, insofar as they do not pertain to the actions of Russia, so I suppose we're both in the same boat.

Oh, lol, I see you are arguing with the Twatter/MSM garbage regurgitator with the attention span of a baby on a triple espresso and crack cocaine again...

Me, I don't give a ret's ass about Ukraine for several reasons.

First off, the purely selfish one of more cheap labor pushing into the EU.

Second, it is the most corrupt country in Europe, even worse on that particular scale than Russia is, actually.

Third, it is an EU project to add it to "Europe" and anything the scum in Brussels wants I am usually against, and vehemently.

Fourth, their oligarchy and bureaucracy, both Soviet in design and mindset, basically want to get into the EU because they are looking for a new paymaster, they are whores, they need a new sugar daddy, and such a step would have led to "more Europe" not less. The likes of Van Der Laynaren are using this as a massive, unprecedented power grab opportunity like they did with COVID and a lot of the Ukraine cheerleaders will live to regret supporting the EU's bullshit.

Fifth, I do not see a fucking reason for us to FUCK up our relations with Russia over that place and Polish Russia Derangement Syndrome.

Oh, and let us not forget all the grifting the MIC and the likes of Biden and Clinton are doing over there.

So, yeah, lots and lots of reasons beyond my pro-Russian stance, which has only grown harder over this conflict exactly because I got slandered as a "varnik", "communist" and "orc" by the likes of that NPC and his ilk. This same NPC said in one thread that I should have been aborted, too.Fuck him.

Fuck all the Ukraine cheerleaders, they are a small group of morons, or brainwashed by the media and the establishment and who could not find Ukraine on the map because they live a world away, or MIC and Eurocracy grifters, or just using all this to further old grudges and acting as the fleas on the tail that wags the dog, fuck the EU, to steal from Vicky Newlard, and fuck Ukraine itself.

They are both nomenclature whores, just like the Bulgarian establishment is, a lot of the "pro-democracy" atlanticist pro-EU politicians were once big Moscow fanboys and communist party members before that money faucet closed and they had to offer up their asses to a new daddy. The oligarchy, the politicians, the bureaucracy on every single level from the academy of sciences to the local forestry department, they need a dick to suck, and they will gladly go along with their daddy's bullshit getting inflicted upon the general populace, from all the green nonsense to shit like polimer caviry fillings that have to be replaced every few years and digital IDs and the Euro.
