"Exactly. He's not working with a foreign country," Alexander Conklin then said agreeing with you. "Ken Brac came up as a criminal, not a foreign government asset. He's doing this spook stuff by the numbers. Crossing T's and dotting I's but he's not hiding it very well," hen then explained. "If we had time... if we get time... we can see about what we can dig up on him but while he doesn't have much of a background as of yet, it's not because its wiped or created but he made his own, gaps and all, just enough to maintain the cover he currently has."

The two Marshals seemed content for the moment as Rose spoke up again. "If there's a weapons transfer happening tomorrow night, we should act on it. The longer we wait, the more the chance of this person disappearing... without doing anything particularly incriminating and from what you've all told me... there's something unsettling about this guy beyond just the weapons smuggling."

"Still, we should get as much intelligence as possible beforehand," Jimmy then chimed in, being very FBI at that moment.

"Okay," Rose then said. "His origins aside," the Senior Marshal said, clearly directing that bit towards Alexander. "What we know so far. The Black Dragons are involved in gun running. Six months ago their pipeline of OCP weapons has been all taken up for this Ken Brac guy. Ken is paying the Black Dragons in gold. Ken acts like a spook outside looking for dead drops and stuff. He acts weird. Has interests in magic and martial arts and fitness and guns... naturally. He takes drugs and listens to music to help him sleep. Has a fridge full of meat. Tomorrow a van will supposedly leave OCP and stop by the auto body shop and then Ken Brac and the local leader of the Black Dragons will drive off to an unknown location in the night and make an exchange."

Rose paused, laying it all out and letting everyone take it in. "Only question is what next?"

"Sleep," Lucy said with a smile. "We might be up late tomorrow. We should get some," the younger Marshal then said, shrugging to her more senior partner as Rose glanced at her.

"We have assets in play," Jimmy then said, nodding to you for credit. "We should use them."

"Corporations... am I right?" said Jimmy Woo after you told him about the options the OCP offered you as you headed into your oftentimes rarely used office, him following. As he said it, he glanced down at his OCP branded PDA and immediately pocketed it with a frown as he sat down at your office. He glanced around, noticing how everything from the telephone to the ballpoint pens were owned by some subsidiary of that sprawling consumer products conglomerate.

"Maybe we should go into corporate security. It must be nice having PDA's and baby monitors that can spy on everyone without warrants," you replied dryly as you longed onto your computer and finding that the FBI Surveillance reports so far were quiet in regards to anything occurring at the Ken Brac residence overnight.

Jimmy Woo chuckled. "We have a morning briefing soon. We'll need to form a plan of action," Jimmy then said. "Especially if we wanna crash that ten PM deadline."

Folders were laid out. Even everything you didn't manage to cover in the briefing last night was in everyones nightly reading so anything you didn't cover, the others should've been aware of from the reports the rest of you had written up. Jimmy was taking up the opening parts of the briefing.

"My partner set up surveillance at the Auto Body shop and has the two agents reviewing footage. We still havee the other two agents monitoring Ken Brac's apartment as well but they haven't reported anything overnight..." Jimmy paused. "Except Ken snores according to the bedroom microphone," Jimmy then added, nodding towards you.

"And he doesn't regularly sweep for bugs," Alexander Conklin helpfully added with a smile

"Yes. Also Agent Frank," Jimmy then started to say, gesturing towards Robb. "First name or last name?" he asked.

"Yes," Robb replied with a broad smile on his florid face, clearly amused with his clever reply.

Jimmy just nodded curtly and proceeded. "He's informed Omni Consumer Products about the weapon smuggling and already we have surveillance connecting to one mid level employee whose been their source. According to OCP, the weapons have been skimmed off of weapons being shipped from overseas bases back to the States for refurbishment. He's been taking refurbished weapons and getting the extra counts taken off of the records as losses so that it would be harder to detect. But with the evidence we had, they were able to hone in on the thief."

There was an exchange of glances at this positive development. "We've given our consent to the OCP internal security planting tracking bugs on the weapons and persuading the thieving employee to cooperate," you then added, which immediately provoked varied reactions from both the Marshals and CIA Agent Conklin, all of whom seemed a bit concerned with that last bit.

It was Marshal Rollins who spoke up however. "Are you sure these corporate guys can be trusted to do the job right?" she immediately spoke up.

"OCP security that handle these kind of cases tend to be ex-law enforcement and military. They're professional about what they do," Alex then said with a nod. "I just hope that this employee doesn't spill the beans before we can catch them all red handed. We want to get them all when they are transferring the weapons right?"

"OCP is private. They don't have the same limits we would on questioning. They won't have to torture the guy because they can engage in a far greater range of coercive interview techniques," Conklin then reasoned.

Robb looked like he was about to speak up, but then actually glanced at you, waiting for you to make the call apparently.

There were nods of agreement around the table over the overriding goal of bagging them all for whatever was happening here and it seemed unanimous. "Taking down the head of the Black Dragons, Bannak, it'll be a big Win. There'll be more then enough credit to go around," ATF Agent Bouten then stated rather casually, injecting that always... pernicious motivation that there was in law enforcement. It seemed kind of shallow, even selfish, but people getting credit for big busts didn't just mean bragging rights and personal advancement, it meant more resources and recognition for your own future operations and investigations. It seemed Robb was astute enough to bring it up but not enough to realize bringing it up was kinda awkward for everyone else.

Thankfully Marshal Rollins brought the discussion back to the OCP and Jimmy offered a smile and a nod as you volunteered him to oversee the OCP operations. A glance over at Robb seemed to show he was actually pretty ambivalent about it. "Maybe Frank can learn some things from you Law Enforcement types that wear suits to work," Robb quipped, mildly teasing in his tone.

Jimmy just smiled and tugged on the lapels of his cheap business suit before glancing at you. "Probably looks better in a corporate setting then in a basketball court brawl anyways," he said, his smile growing as you wrapped up the meeting with your other directives.

Bannak has a home address, his name is on the dojo's deed, and he owns the auto body shop. Never done any surveillance on him before since he's a few levels detached from everyone. Way I see it, we put your last FBI team, maybe that fancy van of yours... on the Auto Body shop and I can survey either his house or the dojo."

It was then that Rose slightly grimaced. "The Butchers Shop sounds kinda like it can be wrapped up quickly. If you want we could knock that out... or..." Rose then said, glancing at Robb. "We could do some surveillance on one of the Black Dragon locations as well. No offense Robb but your people have been digging into these guys for a while right? They might recognize you... plus you kinda give off the whole... cop vibe. No offense."

"None taken," the polo shirt clad, barrel chested, thickly moustached ATF officer said, somewhat legitimizing her observation with his current choice of dress. It was then Robb countered however. "If we do surveillance, we'll have to make sure of Ken Brac's movements. He'll recognize you two immediately for sure."

Rose rolled her eyes a bit but Lucy was nodding coolly. "We have surveillance at Ken's place. We'll know if he leaves. Plus... I could just go to the Butchers shop incognito. Like seriously... half of our conversation was about lean meats and how to cook a steak. He actually... mentioned a Butchers shop to me," Lucy then explained, having apparently had more of a chance to absorb the notes and briefings from last night.

With the orders issues, Alexander was the first to rise. "I'll get on interrogating Greg Kebral right away," he said, before turning to you. "I'll ask your Boss about a spare desk or workstation," he then added.

"You ladies too," Robb replied also rising from his chair. "Don't need anymore Cynthia Rothschilds out there." The name drop led to some curios and quizzical looks before Lucy's face lit up.

"You mean Cythnia Rothrock? If anything we need more of them in this world," Lucy then said with a smile before all three of them headed out of the room, Alexander following after them.

For a moment Jimmy just stared there, looking at you. "Sure you can handle the Butcher yourself?" your partner asked you incredulously.

It was then the door to the conference room opened and one of the fresh faced younger agents peeked her head in. "Agent," she then said, turning towards you. "There's a call on Line 1 for you. It's from one of your surveillance teams," she then said.

"I'll take it in my office," you replied, before giving Jimmy an acknowledging nod as you both went your separate ways.

In your office, you could see the red indicator on your phone indicating the line on hold and picked up the receiver. As soon as you said your name, the Agent on the other side revealed they had picked up a conversation on the wiretap Alexander had set up on Ken Brac's phone and were ready to transmit it over the secure line and stating they had already made a recording.
