SMH they always either leave my family members who were involved in historical events out of these type of things (which I'm totally fine with), or they turn them into woke caricatures.

In the case of this quasi necro porn nonsense I'm glad I see no names I recognize personally :ROFLMAO:
I was surprised they're doing a TV miniseries about this.

Considering the juicy details on that creepy embalmer being way too attached to the most Irrestible Woman of the Argentine Republic.

Something tells me we'll probably get a TV miniseries about Videla, Viola, Galitieri soon.

There already was one. They cucked when it came to Lopez Rega. They were too scared to portray him as the gay furry neopagan he was in real life. So they made him like a caricature of an American Republican for some weird reason.

And one where they turned Manuel Belgrano into a Tumblr poster.

WOW! Tell us how you really feel about Salma Hayek.

I think she's a phenomenal actress and genuinely beautiful in an earthy sort of way. I think she should have been seen as the Mexican Meryl Streep instead of "that hawt mojado milf from 90s rom coms and action movies". So I think she is criminally underrated.

And by Mojado I don't mean Mexican, I mean it the way Califoreños and Nuevo Mejicanos and Tejanos mean it. As in she was an illegal.

Any way all due respect to her as a performer.

She can stay the fuck away from South American history, especially the history of my former homeland of which my forefathers were a contentious part of.

Not sure, there are some good ones.

Chronicles of an escape being interesting because the infamous prison the characters are implied to be held at I believe was just 5 blocks from where my brother and I were born and I think the base Commandant was a freemason who was affiliated with Emilio Massera so probably part of the P2 organization.

And The Official Story is also a good one and accurate. Early in the Junta the leaders believed if they killed the commie parents the children wouldn't be infected with their ideology. So they would sell or give over their now orphaned children to wealthy and middle class Argentines who had the right values but couldn't have kids.

Towards the end they just believed leftist thought was an STD like aids and they just fucking killed everyone they could get their hands on.

No wonder why the Argentine Armed Forces disgraced themselves after the fuck up on the Falklands.

Videla was bipolar and fucking crazy. Was he abused as a kid? Something must've happened to him to cause him to go off the rails.

I think Galtieri was bipolar (And very likely schizophrenic.) and self medicated with alcohol and tranquilizers. I think Videla had some form of high functioning autism and a good amount of other neurological issues and he was thrust into the power position when he really didn't want it nor was ready for it even though he initiated it.

His body language is that of a cornered animal and when he gave speeches he could barely look at the mic much less the cameras.

I think Videla was a...natural response to the insane brutality of leftwing activists and the psycho furry and his gaggle of escaped mental patients and literal Witch Doctors that was the Tres A on the other side.

Then you have the Tacuara movement, which was basically just a bunch of upper middle class fratbros larping as Falangiast domestic terrorists..who..damn near "won" their little revolution..somehow.

Argentina had benevolent Dictators before..De Rosas, Aramburu and arguably..maybe Menem who I consider a soft power tyrant. But the Junta from the 70's was full of literal occultists and mental patients defeat.png

Don't forget about the crazy Paraguayan dictator Alfredo Stroessner who was involved in the drug trade and one of his family members was on the DL I think.

Stroessner also employed more people than anyone in Paraguay's history and hilariously overthrew the Government to protect students from police brutality if I'm remembering their version of events and not the Associated Press's nonsense.

He's a fascinatingly contradictory guy. The new Milico from Guinea who overthrew that Globalist shill reminds me a lot of what I know of Stroessner.

Not that Stroessner was a good dude, just that, he was the least shitty option for Paraguay and then overstayed his welcome.
