Religion Does the New Testament teach that Jesus is the God of the Old Testament, Yahweh?

Liar. The New Testament clearly identifies that Jesus is God. Your own Catechism of the Catholic Church affirms this. You are just blatantly lying at this point.

Another lie. You won't engage with anything I actually say. You only seem to be capable of lying.

"Lord, not Yahweh". Are you even reading what you're typing? If you went back to the 1st century and asked them who is Lord - who is Kyrios - what do you think they would say?

1.Then why New Testament identify Jesus as Messiah or Lord, not God?
There were 2 or 3 cases when Jesus is identified as God only, compared to hundrets where HE is MESSIAH.
And you are twisting catholic church teaching - which do not matter, becouse tread is about New Testament, not catholic Church teaching.

2.It seems, that you are good Grima Wormtongue pupil.I proved that ,except 2-3 cases, when Jesus is openly named as God,and for the rest,in maybe 10% of cases it is suggested.
Rest? HE is Messiah, nothing more.Read again what Peter said in Temple,or Paul before Judges.

3.Either God,or just Lord.So,when they wrote about Jahwe,they named HIM as God,too.
In case of Jesus - happened 2-3 times.

Here,another Paul:

1 Thessalonians 4:14-17

14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Again,God is God,who raised Jesus.
And Jesus is Lord and Messiah, not God.
If Paul wanted wrote that Jesus is God,nobody would stop him.
And he certainly do not fear anything,so he wrote all he belived is true.Which,in those times at last, was that Jesus was Messiah raised by God,not God.

I decide to finish off 1 Thessalonians
Here:

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

God is God,Jesus is Lord.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

God is God,Jesus is Messiah.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-28

23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

25 Brothers and sisters, pray for us. 26 Greet all God’s people with a holy kiss. 27 I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters.

28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

God is God,Jersus is Lord and Messiah

All in all - 12:0
