I was looking at the issue for some time, and this newest beanie man video makes perfect sense



Basically, the reason NYC is going to shit, why they placed infected people into nursing homes to kill the elderly, why they supported the riots burning the city down, why they defunded the police, why they killed tourism, why the are releasing the criminals from the prisons and arresting normal business owners, why they are placing homeless people into fancy hotels?

All of that, to chase away the people from the city away, to drive the property prices down, so the top dems (like DeBlasio) can then buy the properties when the values hit rock bottom, and make a killing when the city recovers from their idiotic policies.

I really hope the fuckers running the city and the state get arrested and jailed for an eternity and a day.

If that's their plan then it's not a good one. The current trend is against cities. Everything that made cities a valuable tool of society has been replaced by digital modularity. New York is hardly the only city that is shrinking, right now a great many of them are, and have been since before the current troubles. The idea that they'd be able to make their money back after this is laughable since there would be no incentive for anyone to move to a major city again in the first place.

Mid-sized cities offer very nearly everything that mega-cities do, and have substantially fewer drawbacks. Major companies can move into an outright small city, and push it to grow into a mid-sized city that's grateful to them for helping grow the economy.

There are the elites, there are the strivers who wish to be elite, there are the proles and there is the underclass. The ruling elites mobilise the strivers with promises they can join the ruling class, and the underclass with promises of plunder and revenge. The goal is to control the proles, who create most of the actual wealth.

Sounds crazy like all those stuff the USSR did that resulted in things like a large number of pedophile priests and such

I think even the USSR was surprised it was all so effective and to varying degrees were throwing shit on the wall and hoping it stuck

To draw a possible comparison, it may not help win the election now, but they hope that it may at the very least help them afterwards
