I'm not sure what was going on for most of this, but it seems interesting regardless.

It's based around the story of The Word Bearers (Guys in red armour) and the World Eaters (Guys out of armour at the start and the guy in the blood splattered grey armour) who are lead by two Primarchs, Lorgar and Angron in their attempt to destroy the realm of Ultramar, a kind of mini-kingdom within the Imperium ruled over by the Ultramarines and their Primarch Roboute Guilliman. The Word Bears are especially pissed because of an action the Ultramarines did previously. The World Eaters are blood crazed berserkers because of 'The Nails', a cranial implant that makes them suffer if they're not fighting/killing and gives them pleasure when they're fighting/killing. The opening shows a tainted ship (that's where all the ghosts/horrors/daemons like the monster with the hood).

They've bought and beaten an Ultramarine fleet and are toying with the prisoners. They also made a grave, grave mistake. They left an Ultramarine alive (the one-eyed guy missing the lower half who's impaled on those spikes/chains).

I think the much worse mistake was to leave several Ultramarines in their armors in the prisoner cells.
