Keep in mind that I am an independent, and wanted a Republican other than the reality tv host to win the election when I say this.
That doesn't matter. I consider the Democrats just as, if not more guilty of this.
Hillary wasted her money advantage (somewhere around 1.4 billion raised), spending on 98% of her raised money while Trump spent 99% (I can't remember the how much cash raised, but it wasn't over 1 billion.) (both percentages not accounting for any debts).
She frankly deserved to lose the election with that shitshow. The fact is that she got the popular vote, she raised more money, but managed to throw away those advantages because she let herself get tied down with scandals and couldn't form a decent strategy.
Her election campaign proved she didn't have what it took to be president.
