Frankly, if you're paying attention, it's exactly what you'd expect. I'd be more surprised if I noticed a lack of projects like "Cuties" than a surplus.
If someone rapes someone every day for 999 days straight, you don't act surprised when they do it on day 1000. You can oppose it, or despise it, but basic pattern recognition would mean it is not unexpected.
