It's June and you know what that means. It's Pride Month. The biggest misconception is that Pride Month is meant as a celebration of Gay Liberation and LGBTQIA2S+ culture and practices but that's simply not true.

Pride is a month long celebration where ALL people can celebrate the freedom to be themselves, express themselves and uplift other marginalized communities (as long as it's all gay.)

So this Gay Ramadan be sure to keep that in mind. And just like during non-Queer Ramadan, keep a look out for suspicious packages. 🍆🔥🌈🦄👀

Hate, hate is counter productive. We are to love God with all of our heart and if we have anything else left we are to love one another as if they are yourself. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. You will not win someone to your way of thinking with hate.

However, however take no shit from them. Give them no ground. Stand for what you believe in.

That's my 2 cents on Pride Month.

Other than that, it low-key amazes me how Muslims’ well-established disapproval of all things Progressive and non-straight are so criminal to bring up, whenever Lefties post oblivious crap about how wonderful Islam is.

If anything, Muslims in general — whether growing up Western, or growing up African and Middle Eastern — are way less tolerant and accepting of perceived insults to their faith than even the most Bible-thumping, “Fire and brimstone!” Evangelical social conservatives down in the Deep South. In which case, cue the Wokies getting protested by Muslim parents at best… and getting Charlie Hebdo’d or Salman Rushdie’d, more likely. :oops:
