December 29th, 1982: Alabama wins the 1982 Liberty Bowl defeating Illinois by a final score of 21-15; the victory was Coach Bryant's final victory as University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football Coach with an overall record of (232-46-9) following 25 seasons in Tuscaloosa; 6 national championships (1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, 1979) & 13 SEC conference championships (1961, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1979 & 1981).

Michigan will be lucky to finish (11-1) or (12-0) in 2022.

On Iowa: I'll believe it until I see it.
Iowa's the wildcard. They're not in the same divison as the the other three. They face both Michigan and Ohio State next season. If they're 10-2 come conference championship time (not unreasonable) I wouldn't rule out an upset.

EDIT: if they're 11-1 (highly unlikely) they're probably the favorite because they've already KO'd one of the other three.

Big 10 conference scheduling is fun. Michigan, Michigan St, and Ohio State get to beat up on each other every year.

Iowa needs to stop choking to shitty teams like Purdue if they want to be taken seriously.
